I discovered this fantastic wine bar almost by accident and decided to return. It is now a fixed stop when I return to Florence, both for an aperitif, for dinner or after dinner. It is located in via Santo Spirito, easily reachable on foot or...by bus 11. The restaurant is small, with tables outside, but it is also possible to stop in front, along the road, just like the inhabitants of the city. It offers a wide selection of wines and cutting boards, of high quality, I have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is warm, both for the place, and for the lights and furnishings. I highly recommend it.More

Bar no 3 on the same day. Went here as the restaurant was busy and we had a wait. Had a couple of glasses of wine and some appetizers. 3 women bartenders on the day we went. Very helpful in selecting the wine. Prices were...good ambience was cute neighborhood bar teeming with locals. So definitely worth a visit or if you are waiting for the resto next doorMore

The food is WONDERFUL, the staff is LOVELY and FRIENDLY, the music is EXCELLENT. It’s a fantastic place to stay no matter you want to enjoy only a glass of wine or have a satisfying meal. They offer a different types of crostone and other...small dishes like carrot soup, beef balls and cod stew...normally I’m full after having 5pieces of crostone and a glass of wine.More

A friend mentioned this place to us prior to our trip and the day we were heading up the hill to view Piazzale Michelangelo it began raining when we were just a block away, so we figured a stop in made sense.....now we revisit each...time we're in Firenze. It's a small place that's easy to miss, but super charming and a nice opp to get out of the crowd and have a lite snack and some tasty wine. We first found this place when we were looking to get of the rain just beforeMore

Suggested by the hotel and easy to walk right past it but don’t. The atmosphere was great and food amazing. Seating was a little tight but, it worked. You know it’s good when there are 20 people hanging outside the door when you leave.

A tiny deli/wine/apertivo bar. Very popular with locals but equally friendly and helpful to tourists who buy into their ethos. So popular that people sit or stand outside in the street. A definite "go to" if in Firenze.

It’s exactly the kind of place I love. Amazing food and great wine. EVERYTHING was delicious, and the service was perfect. Emiliano and Laura were the best, so funny and kind! I really need to go back to thay place!

I really liked the selection of cheese and ham that we had and the wine! The atmosphere was really nice and cosy! I recommend it for a casual aperitivo!

Visited Il Santino, more or less by chance, when visiting Florence with a friend, but feel very lucky to have found this small gem with cozy atmosphere, great and competent service and not to mention delicious wines and small snacks/charcuterie. Definitely worth a visit...

We had not heard about this lovely Bistro and found it while walking to the opera at the local church we had seen advertised. We had a lovely glass of wine recommended to go with the tapas style food we ordered which was REALLY tasty....The decor was ‘shabby chic’ and the staff and service had a really cozy feel.... so much so the other people in the Bistro all seemed to get chatting too. A rare moment in this busy world. Thank you!More
