Food wise I knew this place was going to be run-of-the-mill, but admittedly I was impressed in doses. I was looking for somewhere where I could munch some food, drink a cold drink and watch the sun set on the facade of Cupola del Brunelleschi....More

This place is just at the back of the Duomo. We stopped for the set lunch which was good value and very tasty. It was the violin playing busker that drew us in, if I am honest. He played so beautifully while we ate a...More

Had avoided restaurants right by all the main tourist sites deliberately, but stopped here as needed a meeting spot. Big mistake! Sullen staff, slow service (we and others had to go get our bills and pay). Pizza tasted like microwaved kraft cheese.

Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by
an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city.
The historic center is characterized by the immensity
of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the
brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does
not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni
Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is
enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city
