This lovely traditional Florentine restaurant is tucked away in a. Side street on the south side of the Ponte Vecchio. I had the best porcine risotto ever - good friendly service. Will definitely re moment next time we are in Florence

Following the recommendations from Tripadvisor we found this genuinely Touscan Trattoria and it really fulfilled our expectations. We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Trattoria Bordino with good food and wines. Efficient service and plenty off really good food made our visit memorable.

What an amazing place with a great ambience. I had the bistecca alla Fiorentina or T-bone steak. Super juicy, succulent. Almost like melt in the mouth. I would go back for it. Also had the house wine that tasted just as good.

Good food but lousy service. We were stuck at a table by front door and hot kitchen, where we all sweated profusely. The food though good, the wait times and general service was sub par. The waiter appeared indifferent to our group and seemed to generally ignore us . So far on our Italian holiday the dining experience has been... More

They had two simple (but priceworthy) menus for lunch: one with a steak and sallad (11 euro), another with a primo and secondi (8 euro). Wine and water is not included in the fixed menus. The staff is nice, many locals visit the restaurant and the food is well cooked, but again, simple.

We spent over 12 days in Florence and this by far was the best restaurant we ate at. It's a small place hidden down an ally, off of Via de' Guicciardini, not far from Ponte Vecchio Bridge. There were 9 of us and we all order something different and shared. There was not one thing that was not delicious. I... More

Have been going here for decades and it never fails. If you eat meat opt for the bistecca all fiorentina but share it. Its huge. Also save room for dessert they have a wonderful display. The restaurant is cozy and romantic, very cute inside

My husband and I met with some friends for dinner here one night Florence last month. We shared the Affettati misti e crostini toscani which was a mix of salami, proscuitto and crostini. I also had the Proscuitto di Parma e melone. Both appetizers were outstanding! My husband had the Tagliatelle fresche ai funghi porcini which he thought was ok,... More

Staying in Pitti

Neighborhood Profile
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
