Popped in here for dinner on a busy holiday weekend in Florence. Found it to be a nice low key affair with a good atmosphere. The food was outstanding and service good. It's not on one of the main drags so have a look out for it as it's worth the effort.

We went twice - the food was lovely and the service top class. It was always nice and full and had a good atmosphere. Two courses plus drinks were about 60 euros. Worth a try - not far from the cathedral

Came here for lunch, ordered the baked eggplant, gluten free pesto pasta with added mushrooms and the pesto gnocchi with added mushrooms. We were literally licking the plates clean. Good was 10/10 and a reasonable price too. Highly recommend, especially for Coeliacs.

Stumbled across this fab restaurant and decided to try. From the start, nothing was too much trouble. Staff were friendly and made food and wine recommendations which were spot on! Our steaks were to die for and cut like butter!! All very reasonably priced for the outstanding quality we received. The free lemoncello at the end comes with a warning... More

The Restaurant was empty so we were critical if it is good. But we got very nice surprised . The pasta was perfect, and self made. We had Pasta Tagliatelle Cinghiale and Gnocci Pomodoro. Both perfect! A little expensive, but it worth the price totally! Full recommendation - go eat there - even when nobody sits there ! :)

We came across this restaurant on our first evening in Florence. I had the gnocchi with pesto and my husband had the pappardelle and wild boar. They were both amazing so we went back on the third night just so that I could have the pasta and wild boar. The big chunks of meat were succulent. The restaurant was very... More

Description
Florentine restaurant in Florence since 1980.Tuscan Chef.traditional cuisine (great Fiorentina steak) but even lots of seasonal recepies with fresh fish and meat. vegetarian and gluten free menù is also available.very interesting proposals in the wine card :local producers and even organic wines to experience for a real "touch" about our land.good atmosphere and courtesy add something special to the food.Ristorante familiare con staff. Cucina fiorentina e creativa. Tanti i vini in carta con particolare attenzione a piccole realtà territoriali.l'accoglienza è cortese e cordiale .

Staying in Duomo

Neighborhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
