We took 2 pizzas, one burned, the other badly baked. For my taste the base was too thick and not well baked. The staff was also quite unfriendly. They chases us away from a table and placed others there (it was not reserved). Then we had to eat outside with the pigeons as company. Not a nice experience.

Walking by the place we didn't think much of it. However, we've decided to go in as it's got good reviews. It's a very informal place, different to your typical restaurants, which is nice. Prices are great (5-7 EUR for a pizza) and pizza itself was probably the best I've ever had. There's not a thing I can fault about... More

This is a place to go to get a true taste of Italian pizza. The atmosphere was wonderful. We were put at a table with 3 other people that we did not know and it was wonderful. The three people were from Seattle and we shared our experiences in Florence and also the pizza. It is very affordable and the... More

If there is a line don't let it scare you away as the service is super snappy and you won't have to wait long for cheap delicious pizza.

We were determined to make Gusta’s our first restaurant to eat in Firenze especially since it is rated so high on trip advisor, was featured in Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives with Guy Fieri as well as recommended to me by a friend of mine. . Since it was only few blocks away from our hotel Leone Blu, we... More

It's crowded and bustling inside - you order and then wait for your pizza to be handmade. You're usually sitting at a high top table with other diners or you can opt to sit outside in the nearby palazzo. Pizza was DELICIOUS and so well-balanced - the right proportions of bread, sauce, cheese and toppings. In other words, "just right"... More

My wife and I had lunch here recently. A small trendy pizza place. A relatively small menu, choice of about 6-8 pizzas to choose from. We had the pizza margarita which was good. Very friendly staff, small seating area, but the staff does help get you a seat. Reasonable price. All in all good, but not out of the world... More
