Favorite place to enjoy simple and delicious italian food in a cozy atmosphere. The small osteria is centrally located right next to the Piazza della Signoria. As soon as you get in you feel the good energy. The service is welcoming and fast, there is a good choice of wines and fantastic food for the ultimate traditional Italian experience. Love... More

The energy of this place was amazing and it's obvious the staff love their work. The atmosphere is welcoming and casual and you feel like part of the family. The feed is really good. Simple and uncomplicated dishes featuring a few ingredients but executed deliciously. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch there! Book ahead coz it's always full!

... OK, just kidding. They DO NOT serve pizza, and they say so on the menu! No bistecca, no ice, no takeaway and no cappuccino. Don't ask why. But seriously, it was a wholesome, hearty Tuscan meal. Topped off with great, fun, waiters!! Go for the duck ragout pasta and the beef stew. For dessert, the raspberry tiramisu and the... More

What a quaint, warm atmosphere in the heart of the city. I loved the decor and the family feel to this little gem. All the food was freshly made. Everything on the menu was exquisite from pizza to main courses. I had the duck ragu over pasta and it was truly the best meal i have ever had even in... More

We stumbled across this place and the hand-written menu posted to the door captured our attention while strolling through Florence. This place oozes character, passion, and authenticity. Your first site is the owner hand carving local meats and cheeses with bowls of local farm raised vegetables surrounding his staging area. The simplicity and the preparation of the ingredients were impeccable.... More

We've dined extensively in Italy, and in Florence specifically, and quite frankly, don't understand why this restaurant is not #1 with TripAdvisor in Florence. It is a truly excellent restaurant. Small...about 8 tables close together---dad cooks, mom runs the show, son is the waiter and interprets the menu for the non-Italian reading patrons. Every, and I mean EVERY, item on... More

This is an amazing restaurant. The best meal my wife and I had in Italy on our recent visit. It is a very small (8 tables) family run place. A reservation is a must or you will not get in. It has great atmosphere, just as you might imagine a small local restaurant to be. The staff is very very... More

You wouldn't stumble upon this restaurant by mistake, so I am thankful it was recommended to me. It is located very close to the Uffizi museum, but on backstreet in the corner of the square. The food was by far the best we had in Florence, absolutely delicious. The pastas were exquisite, the chicken pate appetiser and the steak equally... More

Great regional food, very tasty, pasta excellent, many options available not on the menu, just ask the waiter. Service very attentive and friendly - family run business. Very popular (hotels recommend and well known in Firenze circles) so book in advance. Hard to beat in the city centre for quality of food in a relaxed atmosphere

My Nikolas was studying abroad in Florence, he took us to this wonderful quaint osteria. The Osso Buco was superb, as was the pasta and desserts. I staff was kind and very generous. When we return to Italy, this will be the first palce we will eat at. Be sure to call and reserve a seating.

Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
