We enjoyed this restaurant, which was recommended by the concierge at our hotel. Viewing it from outside, we weren't convinced, as it looked pretty tight on space, but we rolled the dice and went in. We shared a pecorino cheese appetizer drizzled with honey and...More

This restaurant is the best place we had when we were in Florence during our last visit to Florence. The cuisine is real Tuscana, excellent quality products, the food is fresh cooked, the wine is local and they offer the best on the chianti region....More

It was raining and close to the hotel so our concierge recommended La Maremma. We went with our 2 teens so I was bit fearful we'd end up at pizza-pasta-paninni or a "standard tourist menu" place but to my relief it offered regional food in...More

On a recommendation, we had lunch here with our two kids (6 and 9), and it was fabulous! Linguini and clams, peppered mussels, red snapper and green beans...the house red! Food was marvelous, service was friendly and prompt, and tab was reasonable. We will try...More

Had lunch here a couple of days ago. Friendly waiter and staff. Seafood frittata was good but the side salads were over salty. Pasta with swordfish was cold and glutinous. Felt ill all afternoon!

We ate with another couple at La Maremma on the recommendation of hotel staff and were not disappointed. The pecorino with honey and thyme will always be a favorite and the ricotta gnudi were sublime. Friendly staff, nice evening.

This is without a doubt of the best meals I have ever had in my short life so far. My partner and I found it on our last night of a three day trip to Florence. You walk in and straight away you know you've...More

Heard lots of good things about this restaurant, but I'd call it middle of the road. 2 first course pastas, 1 grilled vegetable dish and 1 sausage dish was $42. We didn't stay for dessert as the atmosphere was not so warm. Pasta with tomato...More

Description
...A few steps from ‘“Santa Croce” square, in front of the “Teatro Verdi”, in the historical centre of Florence, is the restaurant La Maremma.....since 1987, a meeting point and source of ancient tastes and Tuscan traditions...... With its main dining room sorrounded by the warm colours of the wood and wine most and continuing into a second room with sofa and leather chairs, to get to the tiny hunter-room for just 8 lucky people.
