I visited this restaurant with my boyfriend on Sunday 20th September 2020. Despite not having a reservation, we were given a very warm welcome by staff. This is a really rustic traditional trattoria and appeared to be frequented by locals rather than tourists. The menu...was all in Italian and we were rather lost but thankfully, and I cannot thank him enough, our young server verbally translated the entire menu for us. He was so patient and helpful and we were so grateful. I didn't catch his name but if he sees this, thank you so much!! I can confirm the rigatoni really is excellent and a very good portion size. Highly recommend this restaurant for an authentic Florentine dinner.More

This restaurant was highly recommended by a friend, but we were very disappointed by the food. Maybe something changed in between but honestly we eat a burrata which seamed to be from the supermarket, no taste at all and then 2 types of pasta, impossible...to eat. We had to put a lot o pepper, but anyway we couldn’t finish it. It never happened to me before in Italy. Pasta is always good everywhere. The atmosphere was nice, too bad. Even the wine was bad and we changed it twice.More

The restaurant is really authentic, cozy and welcoming. The menu choice is great. The only „fail“ was the service. Our waiter was Unfriendly and listless and so was his performance. This created a bitter aftertaste, which made us leave the restaurant deeply unhappy and disappointed.

Comfortable seating, beautiful decor and atmosphere, delicious food and friendly staff. What more can you ask for? We have been in italy for a week now in various different cities and towns and the meal we had here was the best of the lot. I...recommend the sharing steak as it was ridiculously good. One of the best steaks I've ever had We will return to florence and i will eat that steak again before i die!More

Good and genuine local food. Terrific ambiance. Rich wine list, but.... The waiter told us that the wine we had chosen unfortunately was sold out. The fifth time this happened and voiced our bafflement the waiter got upset ( he did!) and basically said that...for that kind of money (30 euro) we only had two choices — more options required to spend more (in spite of the wine list having plenty of options). If only we had met a different waiter!More

This place is always busy, and rightly so. The menu is full of delicious options, with good service and decent prices. Every time we come here there’s a queue of people waiting for tables, so we book in advance to avoid waiting. Delighted to see...the restaurant surviving and thriving in the current situation.More

The typical Florentine trattoria, with amazing wines and great steak. The service is fast, though not the warmest. The place is always very crowded, but for a good reason. The food is good, the portions are generous and the ambience pretty nice. Honest value for...money. It is not my personal favourite trattoria in town, but it is still a place where I know I will not end up disappointed.More

This is the best place we’ve been during our trip. Nice and elegant place to have dinner. The staff ia professional and the food was delicious. We ate lemon sauce tagliatelle and tomato/buffala rigatoni. Most of the menu is more expensive than other places we’ve...been to but it definitely worths it.More

back in Florence after 4 year in Australia and craving for a Florentine steak. Cannot go wrong at I 13 Gobbi. Simple, perfectly executed Tuscan food. The T-bone was superb, tender and juicy. Try the Pappa al Pomodoro and the stuffed zucchini flowers....delicious. I was...impressed by the wine list, great choice of iconic Brunello a and classic Tuscany labels nowadays not easy to find around. Well Done guys. Service: attentive and friendly always ready to share a joke without intruding too much. Def Will be back soon.More
