A lovely treasure that we stumbled upon in Florence. My husband had the porcini risotto and I had a steak salad which we shared and the two dishes complemented each other wonderfully.

This was one of the restaurants recommended by our hotel and it was a great recommendation. The restaurant is near Piazza San Lorenzo and the Central Market. The restaurant offers a very personal service and has great food selection. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Florence.

Around the corner from a lively piazza, Osteria Pepo is a wonderful find in Florence. We had the risotto of the day (porcini mushroom) and the papardelle with wild boar ragu, both of which were delicious. We then shared the bistecca alla fiorentina, which was cooked perfectly rare and was incredibly flavorful. Though not the biggest steak we had in... More

We walked in for a late dinner. From the moment we stepped in we felt unwelcome. The waitress was very cold and pointed to a table. One of the worst customer service experiences in Italy. Luckily the Food was ok.

Had a great time at this cute Osteria. I called at noon and made a 7pm reservation, and I'm glad we did because many were turned away. Splurged on the Brunello from Monticello, and it was worth it. Friend had Oso Bucco, and it melted off the bone. Caprese salad was delicious. I had the papa al pomodoro soup, that's... More

They serve delicious and good food, quick waiters with total control of your table with food and drinks . Try the stew, the corn with mushroom, the Crostinis and their meat dishes . Really good everything . Ps... More

On our way to the popular Piazza del Mercato Centrale with its many hopping busy restaurants, we walked by a small, charming place with white linen table cloths, sparkling table settings and a menu reasonable in length and pricing. It advertised an English menu and no cover charge. As it was just opening for dinner, we were among the first... More

Had a nice dinner. Steak strips, ravioli, grilled vegetables and of course house wine. The staff was friendly and multilingual. Food came quickly and very well presented. The only thing that was off were the metal wind charms they have at the door... They did not stop ringing! Maybe it's their version of teenage repellent ( and I'm nowhere near... More

So good we kept returning, and were satisfied every time! Reasonable prices, tasty recipes, interesting daily specials. Only reason we rate 4 instead of 5, is because you may have to wait outside on the busy sidewalk. But it's worth it!

We stayed at the hotel at the end of this street and this place was recommended by the hotel staff as being good food and worth the price you pay for it. Initially we were a little put off as the menu is in Italian only outside, however they have English and French once you're in there. We had to... More
