This restaurant was one of my favorite places. I fell in love with the ravioloni with onion and pesto sauce, super delicious! The atmosphere is very nice, only thing might be that it's a little bit more expensive than the other places, but totally worth checking out at least once.

Visited Coquinarius twice, lunch and dinner as the salads were very fresh with unique flavors--good use of seasonal ingredients. Primi and Secondi selections very good and wine list from all over Italy from typical Chianti Classico to hidden Pinot Nero gems. And the service was superb, especially from Luca who gave good wine recommendations. Thanks to our guide, Eliza for... More

We stumbled into Coquinarius on a hot day for lunch and received great food and service. My favorite was the pear ravioli. They also had a good wine selection. A great find.

Hot in Firenze so needed a respite from the heat and stumble onto Coquinarius. Great AC and Great food and drinks. Very different from typical place in Firenze. Modern with a great assortment of salads. We loved it

I was suggested this restaurant by the owner of the apartment i was staying in and I can say he chose well! I rocked up to this restaurant and they were quite booked but found a spot for me as i was travelling solo. The service was alright, probably a little slow than i was used to in Italy but... More

It's my first comment on the trip advisor, but I really feel like recommending it... Beef tar tar with capers and desserts are just amazing.. Choice of wine is pretty good, including dessert wine. Well done guys!

Had a dinner here. Starter: Pear/Rocket/Cheese.... this was quite normal. Can't really tell. Main Course: Salad with Strawberry/Peas and flower petals (maybe rose or similar) I have attached a photo here as well. There seemed to be an over-dose of flower petals which made me sick a very short while later. I would say this restaurant is trying to take... More

We arrived in Florence in late afternoon and our B&B recommended this place. We walked in around 6:30 and the place was almost deserted but she had to check the schedule before she could seat us and they let us have a table that was reserved for 9pm. Before we had finished our starters the place was full. We were... More

Came here upon multiple recommendations and were not disappointed. We started out with a sampling of crostini and then split a salad with burrata and the tagliatelle rabbit white ragù. All were absolutely amazing and filling (the portions are not small by any means!). The waiter surprised us with limoncello shots after dinner, a very classic way to end this... More

Staying in Duomo

Neighborhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
