Probably one of the best restaurant in the city centre based on value for money. Not on a principal road but very central really close to the Duomo. Food is just amazing, good meats and wine selection. Staff was very kind and helpful. Definitely romantic and intimate restaurant, but good for families as well.

We had lunch in this place after a chef suggestion. Great score! It is in the heart of Florence, but as soon as we entered we noticed that it wasn't a turistic place because most of the people spoke the local language. Place is modern, nice wine and helpful waiter. Food was real. I mean the place where you find... More

Stumbled upon this little 'Gem' of a Restaurant whilst walking around the beautiful city of Florence. Had to wait a little while for a table, Seemed to be very popular with Italians. Service very friendly and efficient, Food was very very good. My Daughter had the Burratta with Tomatoes and Salad, It was the best she had ever tasted. If... More

Went for lunch with my Dad. Really kind wait staff and beautiful place with great ambience. We shared a crostini with fontina, walnuts and honey to start (amazing!). Then we had the wild boar fresh ravioli and gnocchi (both really good) and finished with the short ribs which were fabulous. It was a bit too much food for 2 people,... More

You will find this nice restaurant in narrow street in Florence. When you enter the restaurant you will see warm welcoming from staff. Then the menu is really short and fill with different type of traditional Italian food from Florence. As a starter I recommend to go for bruschetta with olive and balsamic. The staff are really helpful, kind and... More

This is a really good restaurant in the heart of Florence. We did not have a booking and were lucky to get the last table available. The decor in the restaurant was very tasteful and the staff were friendly. We enjoyed our meal very much and although the service was slightly slow, because the restaurant was very busy, the staff... I came here to have more of a snack and to enjoy some fine Italian wine. I decided to get the bruschetta and it was nice. Nothing special but the wine selection there was very nice. The person who seemed to be running the front of house was a great guy. Seemed to be very friendly and knew most of... More

We had an amazing dinner last night with my girlfriend. The service was excellent, the staff was helpful. From the first press olive oil to the fresh burrata and amazing pistache pasta hmmm Everything was simple, typical and amazing at the same time. Great wine menu, with local wines. Had a delicious natural super Toscane red wine. The atmosphere was... More

Staying in Duomo

Neighborhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
