Imaginative food, comfortable place, nice staff (if busy!). Very happy to answer questions and help with veggie options, although a couple of items from the menu had run out, and the service was a little slow the evening we were there.

We got done with sight-seeing around 2:30 & were starving, so I searched for some good place close to the Duomo. This place came up on TripAdvisor, & I’m glad it did. I had a perfect spring salad (spinach with strawberries & a lovely cheese),...More

We came upon this place on our first evening and were lucky to score a table. Reservations recommended. Just had a couple items, and the real standout were the divine beef cheeks!

The food is simple, but good - what really makes the difference are the wines accompanying the dishes. I definitely recommend it and would go there again.

First night in Florence, we came here for dinner, great atmosphere, super helpful staff, far easier once they gave us the English version of the comprehensive menu! The recommended Chianti was excellent... food fabulous, pear and cheese ravioli, sharing platters, venison fume, boar and salads...More

Lovely restaurant in the heart of Florence. Really friendly staff who make great recommendations. The antipasti platter was wonderful and dessert of biscotti dipped in sweet wine was to die for.

Not everyone i the staff knows the wines so well, not that much on glass to be a wine bar. The food was well done, the paste with rabbit ragu could be recommended. The roast beef with vegetables was though very tasteless.

I have been frequenting Coquinarius for over 10 years and although the previous location (just a few doors down) was more intimate, this enoteca is still my number one choice for a light meal in the city of Florence.

As other reviewers have stated, you must have the pear ravioli. It was divine and nothing like what I've had in the States. The pear had the potential to be mushy, but they were able to retain the firmness in tact and the flavor was...More

Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by
an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city.
The historic center is characterized by the immensity
of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the
brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does
not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni
Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is
enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city

We weren’t with small children and I didn’t see any in the restaurant. That’s not to say they don’t have them...I just didn’t see them. Sorry I can’t help!

Yes they do. I remember because i always take a credit card that charges interbank exchange rates and little cash with me. If you haven't got one it's worth googling which providers offer that service.
