One of the worst meals I've ever had. Raw shrimp with peanut butter, pigeon that tasted like it was straight from times square and pink trout that was so fishy I couldn't eat it. I have no idea how this is a michelin star restaurant. So disappointed to have wasted a meal in Italy on this.

I went here last night and the food was incredible. We chose the tasting menu and everything was delicious. The service is also top-notch. After we ate we had desserts and coffee on the patio and the view was breath-taking. I highly recommend this place for anyone that visits Florence.

A spectacular location overlooking the Ponte Vechio. An impeccable service, warm but very professional. We have chosen Toscany tasting menu with an excellent wine pairing. Borgo San Jacopo is a restaurant that I strongly recommend for all who like to revel in a wonderful tasting menu...

We took the Tuscany tasting menu with a good bottle of wine. and the The service was great, sommelier - very knowledgeable. The food - very good, even excellent - just not up to our expectations. The location was also great. Bottom line - it's a very good place, just somewhat expensive for what it offers.

If it has a star then I'm shocked ....good not great definitely not brilliant and closer to average. Service is slower than one would expect and the whole plan around wine service is a strange. Waited 45 mins before our order was taken and had 30mins without our wine waiting for the sommelier to be free. (No one else knows... More

We felt very special dining at Borgo San Jacopo. The service was excellent, and all the wait staff knew how to recommend items on the menu to us. They had tasting menus that looked wonderful but in the end we ate a la carte. Every dish was creative and delicious - a very different experience if you are just expected... More

Our situation was a little bit different in the fact that we planned our wedding reception at La Terrazza and Chef Peter Brunel offered to cook for us. So we sat up on the terrace with Peter, and staff, who prepared dish after dish for us all night long. He literally was standing behind us with a portable workstation and... More

Staff & services were great, food was ok but nothing special. If your booking for a couple suggest the balcony for beautiful views.

The place is perfectly located with an astounding view to the "Ponte Vecchio", the food well deserves the one Michelin star, but the service although properly structured and courteous, is extremely SLOW. I understand that in Europe there is more of an enjoy the experience and take it easy type of dinning experience, but 35 minutes before asking to take... More

Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
