Very friendly staff in a cozy little place that feels very local. Not easy to find as it turns out there's two simultaneous systems of house numbering: 89r is next to 33...? Based on TripAdvisor reviews I chose the pork chop, which was fine but a bit dry. The Ossobucco on the other hand was exquisit, absolutely recommendable. Antipasti were... More

Fantastic food and local low prices. This non tourist restaurant is a local gem. The staff is very friendly. When we asked for a limoncello to the coffee it was on the house. We will definately come back.

We chose this as it was close to our hotel and on the recommendation of TA. The reviews were right - the pork chop is amazing - thick cut and very moist. Production of food is ridiculously fast after ordering which shows it's pre-cooked. Wine recommendation was excellent.

Great little restaurant just on the out-skirts of Florence centre. Well worth the walk from the centre in an evening. Fantastic Pork Chop - the best I've ever had - worth ordering! No complaints about the service, or the food - recommended.

Booked by phone a few days before and had a fantastic dinner. The pork chop is tender and delicious and the roast beef perfectly cooked. A very memorable meal - served a little quickly though so take your time ordering!

Wow! If you want authentic, homemade Italian food - this is your place. Slightly out of the centre (not a bad thing) but WELL worth the trip. An amazing staff who were more than willing to help two foreigners with no grasp of Italian understand the menu. The pork is just absolutely sensational; as is the roast beef. This aren't... More

We picked this restaurant as it was (in theory) very close to where we were staying and had good reviews. However, it wasn't easy to find as the location on TripAdvisor (opposite the Villa Roma) was incorrect. Fortunately two local boys saw us looking puzzled at the property at address Via Senese 89r and explained that it was further down... More

We were on the tail end of our three week tour of Rome, Umbria and Florence so had many dining experiences. This small, out-of-the way trattoria was our favorite. The food was traditional Tuscan, nothing fancy but delicious and plentiful. Must try the house special roasts, but be prepared to loosen your belt. Ivan our server was a gem, explaining... More

Never in a million years would i think of ordering roast beef at a restaurant, but I'm so glad I did. It was delicious! Everything was wonderful at this restaurant. My waiter was incredibly nice, he even brought me a stuffed tomato without charge after I asked what he had just brought over to another table. I recommend making a... More
