One thing that people will do in Italy is warn you of places that serve you frozen and not handmade pizza. I am not sure of the truth about this place, but I know that I have had better frozen pizza than I got here. The people serving were very warm and friendly, and the place is in a great... More

I was wandering around after visiting the Bargello and looking for a place to eat. This had a small front on the seat but offered a garden area. I was the only one there, it was shady, there was a bit of a breeze, the food was great and the service was excellent. I had a delicious minestrone soup that... More

This restaurant will lure you in with their very friendly staff but the food is truly terrible. There are many more places to eat nearby that would be far better, even some of the other tourist trap places. We were unfortunately approached by their admittedly friendly staff and being tired on a very hot day decided to eat here. I... More

Wonderful meal and fantastic service. Treated my family very well and was very kid friendly. Food was amazing as was the service. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the view of the piazza. Staff was great and recommended perfect meal. Dessert was amazing and the coffee was the best I've had in Tuscany. Stop and eat here. It was awesome.

We stumbled upon this restaurant after a very exhausting 4th day in Florence sightseeing. We were reading the menu and enticed in by one of the waiters. We were pleasantly surprised by very good food in a pretty evening setting in the piazza. Our food choices were ribollitta, lasagne and potato stuffed tortellini with an asparagus & crispy thin ham... More

Location great, staff great. But here's the thing... The steak, cooked pink, rare, bloody, in the truffle sauce. Omega Macro Galapagos. It was one of the best things to pass my lips, swish around in my mouth, get fondled by my tongue and trickle down my esophagus. Yes. Truffle. Those incredibly expensive dodgy looking black fungi found on the floor,... More

we were in the market (great place to shop for leather goods) and we were drawn to this restaurant. Prices seemed good and the location was great. We enjoyed very good wine and filling pizza and bruschetta. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed.

Very touristy, it was busy on the evening we called in, but we got a warm welcome and the homemade pica spaghetti was fine. Overall an ok experience, but I'm not sure it would merit a return visit.

Lasagne & Amatriciana ordered later in the evening, fairly busy still and invited in by guy on the street. Lovely setting with heat lamps under large cover but that's about the only positive. Lasagne was tiny and bland. Found sevetal chunks of bone or gristle in the meat. Amatriciana was also bland and the 'bacon' was pure uncooked fat. Like... More

Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
