We visited Lob's Fish restaurant as part of my 50th birthday celebrations in Northern Italy in July 2016. This has to be the highlight of our food experience in our week. Food = Truly excellent. Wide selection, very fresh, perfectly cooked. Service = Couldn't do enough. Glass of Prosecco on arrival. As much time as we needed to select dishes.... More

A small restaurant in a narrow street. Afree glass of prosecco given to us at the start of the meal. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The portions were large and food was very good.

The seafood is some of the best we have ever had, and we are lucky to have eaten well all over the globe. Get the mussels and the catch of the day. We cleaned our plates and soaked up the sauce with our bread. It's a place where locals go, but the amazing staff makes you feel welcome. Just go!

I dined here with my partner on a recent trip to Florence and would definitely recommend to others. We were also recommended this place as one of the best seafood restaurants in Florence by friends, and it definitely lived up to this expectation! A lovely touch was to be greeted by a glass of champagne on arrival whilst we looked... More

Enjoyed our meal here tonight. The decor is pretty average but the food is great. Lots of fish dishes to choose from. We enjoyed the fried anchovies for entree. Huge potion, glad we shared it. It was crunchy and yummy. Our main courses were also terrific. The tuna and salmon was perfectly cooked. Great meal. Definitely recommend.

Had the alla scoglio and the seafood cioppino. Wife had the crab pasta. The seafood was extremely fresh and executed perfectly. Prices were reasonable and portions were generous. Service was wonderful too. Lovely place for seafood in Florence. No complaints!

Since we couldn't find a proper halal Italian restaurant, we settled with this place as I was craving for some Italian spaghetti. It wasn't easy to locate and somehow Google map brought us to the wrong place. Fortunately, we found the restaurant by chance. We ordered seafood spaghetti and clams spaghetti. Wanted to try the spinach butter but the waiter... More

Superb little eatery. We sat outside on a balmy evening and had not booked but we were lucky enough to get a table. A welcome glass of Prosecco was delivered as soon as we sat down! We enjoyed delicious food all served with grace and formality. I had seafood linguini and my husband had foiled seafood which, he said was... More

Would have to fine this restaurant 5 Stars!! Food was OUTSTANDING!! A nice restaurant for a quiet, unrushed dinner. The food was very good and plated nicely. Our two waiters were polite and attentive. When we decided we didn't want dessert, the waiter returned with complimentary Italian ice. A good experience here.
