Great experience. This is the first time that I booked for us and our one year old toddler and his high chair was waiting for us with some toys. He liked the vegetable soap so much and also the fresh pasta with vegetables. Everything was delicious and perfectly served. I liked the red vine and tiramisu. The owners personally cared... More

We had not booked this restaurant -- but were offered a table in the covered garden room out the back --- it has heaters. We thought this space was better than the hot interior, but that is just our preference. The staff speak a little English and were very helpful describing dishes and making recomendations. The sharing platter of cold... More

DIladdarno is a typical trattoria toscana. The owner told us: "we are outside the touristic route, if you walk this far (it is, actually, only a 10 minutes walk from the Duomo) it must be for our food!". Recommended.

We goofed. We gave the taxi driver the address to Diladdarno but thought we were going to a different restaurant. So they did not have a reservation for us but they found a table. At first I thought it was going to be less of an experience because of the mix-up, but it turned out great. Really good food well... More

Walk by it and was not yet open but instead of pointing to the sign the young lady took the time to tell us to come back in 15 minutes. We did not regret our choice. Very kind welcome ,excellent service and even better food.We went back another night and this time the young lady recognise us. Highly recommended

We booked for a Sunday lunch and it was full of locals. The food was outstanding and very good value. Portions were large - the beef I had was some of the best I've had in ages. Nice atmosphere, very friendly. Well worth the visit

We stopped in here for lunch on our way out of town and the place was very busy. We were able to get a table outside in the back of the restaurant which was a perfect place to sit on the nice sunny day, and there was plenty of shade so it was very comfortable. During our meal we appeared... More

This is a small traditional restaurant slightly set away from the main tourist area and better for that. The food was great although service a little slow. There is a nice garden area with tables at the abck for warmer evnings. Recommended

It's Tuscan but served in a non-traditional style with a twist. It's actually high average to low very good food that was basically very solid but lacked a bit on execution the day I visited. Service was very friendly and had the family owned vibe. I had the suckling pig which was cooked well but finished poorly. To explain, it... More

We were staying in this quiet residential area of Florence and we noticed that there were quite a few attractive looking restaurants around the neighbourhood that seemed unassuming and popular with locals. We decided to give this place a try after a day of visiting the galleries and museums of centro storico. We wanted a glass of wine and some... More
