Food here was very tasty. Service wasn't great, but it seemed as though they were trying to serve too many tables each. They were all very patient and welcoming, with delicious pasta to top it all off.

The Fiorentina pizza was the best pizza I had so far in Italy! I was craving a pizza that was full of toppings. This was an Italian pizza but it looked like the pizza in used to with the crust and the full cheese layer and the abundant toppings.

Food was delicious and ambiance was great for the evening. Highly recommend the wild boar ragu! Prices are similar to what we have seen at other restaurants. Waiters are very attentive and kind.

If you are looking for a traditional Italian restaurant away from the hustle and bustle with good authentic food then this place is for you. Lovely atmosphere. Very traditional. Fab wine. Food was amazing and the best I'd eaten all trip. Thumbs up from us.

Staying in Duomo

Neighborhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
