After some pretty decent meals based on various recommendations, I decided to go here on my third evening solely because it looked good and it was close to my hotel ( I have to admit I was very tired). However the food gods were smiling for without a doubt, the best meal I had my entire four days in Florence!... More

We popped in here for lunch yesterday..... I had their Tuscan Beef Stew and it was superb! I'm def going to try my best to recreate this dish at home. Our waiter was welcoming, humorous and attentive. Unfortunately we had to send my hubby's lasagna back as it was cold in the middle (and sadly very average). But the stew... More

If you imagine a typical ristorante, decorated with wine bottles and strings of garlic run by an old friendly Italian gentlemen then this is it. As the owner he obviously takes great pride in ensuring everyone has what they want and still serves all the customers. The prosciutto with the melon was outstanding followed by pizza and pasta done to... More

My partner and I had dinner here as it was an authentic and quaint restaurant situated in a side ally a stones throw from piazza della signoria. The ambience was lovely away from tourists, all staff speak excellent English and are so helpful. The meals and the wine are fantastic a great selection to choose from.

My family and I stopped here for lunch, so glad that we did! Our server was kind & funny and our food was fabulous. We ordered prosciutto & melon, pasta with wild boar sauce, fiorentina steak, and grilled veggies. The wild boar sauce had tender pieces of meat and the pasta tasted very fresh. The steak was divine, super juicy... More

We had the seafood risotto which was cooked perfectly and just the right amount of seafood. We also had the branzino (European sea bass) which was baked in foil along with vegetables and mussels and claims. Very well cooked with a hint of rosemary. We usually grill branzino ourselves at home to get a crisp skin you can eat and... More

First time in Florence for Kate and we wandered past - not ready to eat but came back later as it looked good. Lovely charcuterie, superb pork and roast potatoes, excellent pasta ! Elected to have a table next to the open French windows onto the street and rubbing elbows with passers by and people watching added to the atmosphere... More
