Absolutely the best gelato in Italy. We also sampled some of the most beautiful pastry I've ever seen. There is such a big selection that you want to take some with you. It's located right next to Finisterrae restaurant, but it wasn't meal time so chose to sample yet one more gelato.

As all esspreso bar in Italy provides delicious esspreso coffees and nice inside room to drink it. Paninis' quality are not good so try to ignore them. Near at the piazza take place small little paninis' stores with better and more quality foods.

Went with a Globus tour group. This is not a tour stop restaurant and has amazing food and service. The ravioli pasta course was the best I've had in years. The dessert tray was varied and a must if you like sweets.

Liked the intricate design of the rooms of this old Florentine home-turned restaurant. Each room carries photos, artifacts of major Mediterranean cities. The food is more than average, the attention and explanations of the head-chef (maybe owner) was quite welcoming on our 1st night in Florence. We went for a Valpolicello Nobile with the pizza and ravioli. A little gem

Recently visited a very busy Florence. This restaurant was also very busy. We sat outside as it was too warm indoors. Beautiful building and nice terrace seating area. Waiter was very busy but still polite and service was good bearing in mind the number of covers he had. I ordered Wild Boar Papardella and my wife Antipasto both of which... More

We purchased an "experience meal" from our travel company a bit cautiously, but were very impressed with the meal from antipasto (the Florentine salty bread balls a warm delight along superb prosciutto so thin you can see through it, along with sun dried tomatoes, olives, et al) to the enormous T-bone for two - proof a hot broiler and sea... On a day visit to Florence our tour guide mentioned that this restaurant was a good place to have lunch. We were also advised to go to the back of the restaurant as there was a court yard. The setting and the meal were excellent. On a hot day the court yard is the best pace to dine

We were told that they had great pastries and gelato so after having lunch at Boccadama (great lasagna) we ventured into this restaurant. We enjoyed the gelato. We learned at many gelato and pastries shops in Italy. You pay at the register first then hand them the receipt to make your selection. Always learning new things.

This restaurant features pizza, pasta and chicken dishes at a reasonable price on the plaza Santa Croce and stay open late. The chicken was sautéed in olive oil, lemon juice, basil and tomatoes and served with Mozzarella. It was tender and delicious, would recommend this dish. The pizza was good, not outstanding. Service was friendly and efficient.

We had an arranged lunch as part of the tour package , our booking was set for 2 pm since we had another place to visit at 3:30 , well it was 2:30 and not even bread was served to us, when we ask to see the manager a very rude Indian waiter told us basically to get lost, it's... More
