We ate here while exploring Florence as part of a tour group based on the recommendation of our local guide. The restaurant has a wood grilled pizza oven, a necessity for true Italian style pizza according to our guide, and baked an amazing pizza! Perfecto in fact! A wide selection of other local options were also available as well as... More

We have eaten here several times when visiting Florence. Lunch at the front on the square is lovely and service excellent. We also ate in the restaurant at the back. Lovely water feature and delicious food for a special evening meal. Recommended.

Recommended by our tour guide and Florence native, we enjoyed lunch here. All three of us agreed this was the best meal of the trip. Don't miss the spinach lasagna or the gnocchi! We were grateful for menus in English and for the kind staff who helped us when we struggled to order in Italian. After lunch and touring the... More

Went to this place with a bus group. Besides the food being terrible my wife also had her purse stolen from the table. An upsetting experience all around. My advice is to stay away from this place.

If you're staying around the Santa Croce area, this is the place to go for lunch. The food is amazing, the pizza is mindblowing, and the service is very fast and very friendly. The prices are average but its worth the wait. The only downside is the huge amounts of tourists who swarm in around 1-2PM. Try to go before... More

We had this place recommended this morning by the hotel receptionist. He suggested we stay away from the tourist traps round the squares and churches except Finisterrae which was an exception. We decided to give it a whirl tonight and we were delighted with the food My partner had pate on toast while I had prawns on carrot and beetroot We... More

Our group of four made two visits to this restaurant. We had morning coffee, real authentic cappuccino and a typical Italian ice cream in late afternoon. They were both self service items but the staff were helpful and friendly. The prices were extremely cheap when compared to Rome.

Bustling, great for people-watching, MARVELLOUS coffee, great cakes and panini. Eat standing or sitting during the day, heated terrace at night.

Visited today. Sat outside for lunch which was served quickly . Food was delicious and server was nice. Had a great impression . Came back in the afternoon to have gelato . Staff inside leaves much to be desired . They socialized with each other as the line grew. After several minutes they would them turn around to abruptly wait... More

Easy to find, nice terraces outside, but it could be warm there, alternative is to go in the interior terraces at the back of the restaurant. Food is excellent and reasonably priced. Pizza, pasta, prosciutto and gelato are served and well prepared. Service is good for such a touristic place, although it could be quite long when crowded. We definitely... More
