Just dropped in to avoid shower. Welcomed with smiles. They even showed me Japanese magazine with their article on. Ordered a paninos and a chianti classico. They were perfect match for lunch.

Saw this place listed on The Guardian newspaper website as the place to try out different vines- they had two or three bottles opened and you can buy a whole from their selection. They recommended me a little canapé with the vine I chose and it was an explosion of flavours - what a treat! The atmosphere was great and... More

It is my favourite place to have paninos. You can choose from many different ingredients and make them to your taste: i.e. ham and sheep cheese, or fantastic salami with pickles, herring with special green sauce et. The choice of wines is quite wide and the prices very reasonable. It is conveniently located next door to the central market,

My husband and I stumbled across this little wine bar and bought some Strega that I purchased for my mother. We decided to sample some local wines and bought A bottle back to our apartment. They were friendly and welcoming and a very nice place to wind down.

We had delicious panini sandwiches which the owner helped us select and great wines to pair with it by the glass. Order your sandwich at the far end of the counter and let the owner help you with the wine at the middle of the counter. Family run since 1920 but in place since late 1800s. Great food, atmosphere, and... More

My wife and I dropped by after reading this was the oldest wine shop in Florence, it was so cool. The patrons and the employees were extremely friendly to us, gave us free wine and talked to us the whole time we were there. There isn't much seating but if you can find a spot and have a few glasses... More

Sit on a bench near the San Lorenzo Market; eat a sandwich for 4 euro and a glass of excellent wine for 3 euros; surround yourself with locals doing the same. And enjoy yourself. This place is great!

We visited Casa Del Vino because the owner and I share the same last name. Although, not related, he treated us like family. We had a wonderful glass of wine and a conversation about our family heritage.

I thought that this place had many tables to spend your day but it only had one and it is very hard to find since it is located in a street which there is a bazaar. There is one gentlemen who is the owner of this place and his English is not that good. I've tried to chat with him... More
