... that such a place could exist in Florence. If we hadn't read about it on Tripadvisor we would never have known about it and would have missed a treat. Thanks to all those who placed reviews. Easy to walk past on the outside, a delight on the inside. As other reviewers have said, there really is a queue! and... More

An interesting place with a unique kind of agenda. Vegetarians will feel at home here. Just bear in mind that not all courses are the same (At the time of this review, the onion quiche was awesome and the veg paella reminded us of bootcamp kitchen). It's pretty budget-friendly though, so after some trial and error anyone can find a... More

We went here everyday upon discovering it. It is all vegetarian and there are a lot of vegan options too. Even if you're not vegetarian/vegan, I'm sure you'll still find the food delicious. Everything we tried here was so incredibly delicious and reasonably priced! There was always someone there to help us translate the menu too :)

The staff are very helpful and like me and don't speak Italian the system is very easy you look at the menu choose write it down in apiece of paper that is provided , hand it back to the guy... The food is excellent, and caters for many dietary restrictions (gluten free cheesecakes!). All good rustic well cooked food - it's not haute cuisine, but very good. The staff are lovely, creating a feeling of Utopia or Shangri-La with their generosity and kindness. All the good feelings are reinforced when you get the bill for two @37E for 3 courses,... More

This place has lots of atmosphere and is quite cheap so worth getting there when it opens at 7.30 as it fills up quickly. It's pretty chaotic with a strange system of reading the menu (on the wall), selecting your food, going to the guy on the till and paying him, before taking a tray and queuing up at the... More

We are vegetarians who do not know much Italian. It was refreshing to eat someplace where we knew we could eat anything on the menu. I had risotto with asparagus and a small salad. My husband ordered seitan with mushrooms which came with rice and a side salad. Add a bottle of organic Chianti and the total was about 33... More

Resrarant was quite a way out of the centre, but well worth the walk. It opens at 7.30 pm we knew we had found when we saw the queue. We had quiche & salad really good & very filling. A strange way of ordering, you need to grab a table, then order off the blackboard at back of the room,... More
