Too expensive for what we had. Food is ok but we don't recommend it for the expensive prices. Troppo costoso per quello che abbiamo mangiato. Piatti buoni ma non lo raccomandiamo per i prezzi troppo costosi.

Many people who have visited Firenze have probably walked right past this gem. Family owned and operated, this spot has not been tainted by the increase in tourism over the years. The food is made fresh for every plate and the vegetable are picked fresh and stored in sight. The gnocchi with mozzarella is what keeps me coming back for... More

The establishment is split into a restaurant to the left and a sandwich shop to the right, with a shared kitchen. Excellent food and value in both places. As far as the sandwich goes, honestly, you can wait about five minutes here, or you can wait, and wait, and wait, with 200 other people during prime time for a sandwich... More

I travel to Florence frequently for business... each time I have to make at least 1 stop to Antico Noe. I like the cosy feeling and simple design. The food is great, i had tried multiple dishes artichoke & porcini carpaccio, porcini linguini, zucchini flower ravioli and their T-bone steak. Food is just perfect and excellent value for money.

The place is a little worn out and the service is kind of colloquial. If you want to dine fine, go elsewhere. Apart from that the food is very tasty, try the fried courgette, they are delicious as are the Linguini con porcini

The first time I visited in 1994 this was one of my favorite places for lunch in Florence. Each time I have returned since it does not disappoint. Fantastic sandwiches, good enough to visit more than once during your stay.

We got sandwiches here to go for our train trip from Florence to Rome and they were yummy. Worth a stop for take away.

One of the worst place in Flirence. We ordered a steak for one person, it came with 1.6 kgs of streak and they insist it is ONE steak. Ended up paying 100 euros for steak we didn't eat at all. They saw us as tourists that they can fool around. I fought hard, but the damage is done. And I... More

We had lunch at L'Antico Noe after a cold and windy morning of site-seeing. The warm, cozy atmosphere was a welcome relief and the food was delicious. This place seats about thirty people at small, rustic tables with stools. We enjoyed Bruschetta Cavolo Nero (black cabbage) and white beans, a steaming bowl of Ribollita and a plate of Pasta Carbonara... More

My sister in law studied abroad here and recommended this place. So happy she did. No frills about it - just really good paninis.

Staying in Duomo

Neighborhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
