We are not foodies and don't do extravagant dinners often. We had the meat tasting menu and the seafood tasting menu without the wine pairings and ordered a bottle instead. The price was somewhat high, we thought, but the food was good and each dish...More

Stunning food and a cool setting. We came in for the lunch menu which was incredible value for such exquisite food. The staff were wonderful and the whole atmosphere was relaxed but elegant. Highly recommend for a trip to Florence.

I don’t even know where to start. Marco Stabile is an absolute genius. From start to finish it was perfection. He gives a personal touch to his restaurant and is very, very kind! Food was sensational - you MUST order the 1kg steak. Absolutely beautiful...More

Upon arrival we were brought downstairs to a separate room – double shock: freezing cold with the aircon on highest level and no windows. We told the lady its way to cold, and asked if they didn't they have a table upstairs in the restaurant....More

If you fancy a break from the hustle and bustle of Florence, take the plunge and book yourself a table at Ora d'Aria in the Via Ghibellina. Decorated in shades of vanilla, this elegant restaurant is a welcome escape from the tourist trail, and Head Chef Marco Stabile has created a menu which features the best culinary traditions from the region. Sit back and relax as dishes such as the spaghetti with cuttlefish drizzled with extra virgin olive oil; Piedmontese steak with garlic chips and panzella salad; and black cod with a Tuscan bean and onion salad give you an authentic taste of Tuscany in stylish surrounds. Ora d'Aria's impressive wine list features an excellent selection of Tuscan and French wines.
