Third day in Italy had our best meal in this little sit at the counter only place! Get the truffle ravioli and take their recommendations for wine.

Small, well-designed, modern space with an inventive menu and top-notch local ingredients; limited to at-counter seating -- a good thing for small informal groups. But the service is off, way off. The chef-owner translates the menu board from Italian into English to every guest, which he did three times while we were there. Why not have a translated version and... More

We should have read the trip advisor reviews before coming in, as others hit the nail on the head. You will be treated differently if you are not Italian. This is especially apparent when you are a minority and he is speaking about what is the true origin of your ethnicity in Italian to another rude local customer. Food was... More

Had the most wonderful dinner at Zeb. Our hotel called and made a reservation, we were 10 mins early and got sat only 3 minutes later. The menu was written by chalk based on the day, and the decor with wine bottles covering the walls was the perfect ambiance. They paired our wine for us to perfection, I had a... More

Stopped in here for lunch on our walk back from Piazzala Micheangelo. It's a hole in the wall place, but with a somewhat upscale atmosphere. The food is amazing. We each had ravioli - one with pears, one with zucchini flower. Fantastic. I then had the best ossobucco I've ever tasted - infused with rosemary. Daughter's eggplant parmiagano was also... More

Great food!!! The best ravioli I've ever taste! We (my friends and me) tasted 3 different ravioli. All of them were wonderful, but my favorite is the one with truffle. The next courses were also excellent! It's been more than a month since that we've been there, I can still remember the taste of the food. The concept of this... More

Hands down this was the best meal we had on our 8 day Italy trip. As mentioned in other reviews the host was strange and not very welcoming. He seemed to have a very specific way he wanted you to order and wasn't very responsive to questions which was a bit amusing since the only menu you see is a... More

We discovered this wonderful restaurant whilst wandering one evening and were amazed. The food was fresh and delicious, by far the best we ate on our trip. It is clear from the local clientele that this bistro / trattoria/ restaurant is very popular with the locals - always a good sign in Italy. We are interested that some reviews are... More

Staying in Pitti

Neighborhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
