We travelled through Venice, Rome and Florence. Ate at some really great places, and then stumbled upon this little place on our last day in Italy, and WOW! Perfection. Dishes bursting with layers of flavor and impeccable service. It is tiny, so reservations might be a safe way to go. Clean, minimalist devote. You will be very pleased. Spectacular!

The only thing that disappointed me during my recent lunch at Zeb was that there were not more people there!! While the crappy tourist traps surrounding the place seemed to get more traffic, I could not believe that the place wasn't more busy. The food was excellent - sauces were extremely well executed. I had the pumpkin ravioli a few... More

We found this restaurant in the Michelin guide. Very small restaurant with seats in sushi style at a bar looking at the chef preparing cheese/ salumi/ dolce and wine. Kitchen is hidden in the back. Menu simple written on a chalkboard. Great selection of pasta . We had the ravioli with pecorino and pear. Very delicate flavours with the warm... More

I came here with group on our last night in Florence. It was one of the best restaurants I've had the pleasure of dining at in Italy. We we lucky to have the whole place to ourselves and the staff were very lovely and helpful. The food was delicious and the wine was well chosen (the staff helped out with... More

it is actually a 4,5 stars. we did love the food and the wine was good too. not a huge selection but good. loved the ravioli. sitting around the counter with the chefs in the middle was fun too. it just fell a tiny bit short of expectations, that is all.

this restaurant is highly recommended by many TA peeps. the young man who seated us at the bar told us to choose a bottle of wine from their racks when we inquired if we could see a wine list. it is a small restaurant. most seating is at a bar with glass front so staff reaches over or places food... HORRIBLE SERVICE! Rude, arrogant employees who have no regard for their guests UNLESS YOU ARE A LOCAL. Seating environment was not pleasant either. The owner snickered when we told them we didn't have a reservation. Upon seating, the owner asked if we wanted sparkling or still water, to which we asked if they had a proper drinks menu. The owner... More

Third day in Italy had our best meal in this little sit at the counter only place! Get the truffle ravioli and take their recommendations for wine.

Staying in Pitti

Neighborhood Profile
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
