Stumbled across this trattoria. Asked the waitress what gluten free options they had and was surprised when they had gluten free spaghetti Enjoyed a lovely spaghetti with meat sauce and vegetable soup with wine and a lovely Panna Cotta to finish

Third time here. Very handy for the Bargello and less than 5 minutes’ walk from Santa Croce. Very relaxed place, less touristy than others around, and looked after the kids very well. Melanzane alla parmagiana outstanding for only €8.50, and great house wine. Thoroughly recommended.

This place has more of a house feel than a restaurant feel. You enter the hallway and hang right where there is a room with tables and then a second room with tables. There is nothing glam or fancy about it. There are pictures on...More

I make a point of dining here every year when I visit Florence. Located directly opposite the south wall of the Bargello, il Barroccio is a small restaurant serving fine Tuscan food in an environment that manages to be both elegant and unpretentious at the...More

Ate here on a friends recommendation for an early dinner on our first night in Florence. On a quiet side street just off the beaten track. Had an amazing Florentine steak and the vino Della casa (8 Euros for 500ml!). Very pleasant

We ate here because it was near our apartment, we were tired, and tables were available. Our view is that this restaurant should be busier than it was when we visited. The staff was very friendly, the owner came out to talk to us about...More

We had a really nice meal here at lunch time... very quiet and off the beaten track which appealed to us! The waiter was very friendly... we enjoyed a delicious bruschetta, lasagna (very creamy!) and my husband had clam spaghetti which he loved. The tiramisu...More

We happened to come across this place while looking for somewhere away from the busy touristy areas. There was no English menu, but the waiter translated brilliantly and our food was tremendous, with a delicious glass of wine or two to go with it. It...More

Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by
an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city.
The historic center is characterized by the immensity
of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the
brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does
not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni
Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is
enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city
