We stopped by this historic wine bar to try their famous finger sandwiches which we were told is a ‘must do’ when in Florence, hence the bar being a stop on some city wine and food tours. Even though they were quite busy, the staff...took the time to explain their wine and food offerings. I enjoyed their truffle with fois grois and the brie with onion versions, which went down nicely with a glass of fizz. Hubby, not a fan of truffles, opted for the standard and the upstream salmon and the ham paninis, but he thought these were a bit bland. We both agreed that the best dish was the mango and coconut cake was light and yummy. Nice enough experience but the prices are pretty steep and we didn’t think the food lived up to the hype.More

We were staying in an apartment nearby in Tornabuoni, and dropped in for pre-dinner drinks as this stylish wine bar. The friendly waitress kept our booking for an outside table, and we had high quality wines with delicious bread rolls with smoked salmon and other...fillings. Prices were higher than average but worth the experience.More

The salad I had here was delicious. The beef dish had a little too much truffle on it for us. The staff was nice to customize a sandwich for us and the bread was so delicious. This is a great place for a light snack.

Some strangers steal personal belongings every week, they don’t have any cameras and securety, borrowing is a normal thing in here, even the stuff is not surprised !!! But they even don’t let you know about this kind of situation that is happening.

Nice place if you want someone to steal your things, don’t even have cameras for your safety. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 How in a place like that you can’t prove any safety for your clients?! Shocked …

Tiny historic place for wine and truffles panini. Excellent for both aperitivo or quick drinks. Rare place where you can get Tignanello or Cervaro served by glasses. Truly a gem not to be missed!

This is one of the most beautiful places in Florence to have an aperitivo but the service we had yesterday will prevent me from ever coming back. We ordered drinks and asked the waitress for olives and tarallucci. She said we are finished with tarallucci....We asked for potato chips. She said she will sell us a bag! Then she brought the bag of chips without a bowl to put them in as if we should pass them around in a bag at the table. She brought a few olives and 3 toothpicks although we were four people. It was embarrassing for Procacci and offensive to all of us. I have been here three times in the last six months and the service has been terrible every time. Rude and not customer welcoming at all. How is it possible to not have chips or anything for aperitivo and to make your customers feel unwelcome at prices 2 x the regular place. They are taking advantage of their beautiful location and treating people as if they are doing you a favor by letting you sit there. Go to Odeon around the corner for a beautiful spot, delicious aperitivi snacks and most importantly warm service or treat yourself to Bar Gilli where you can enjoy the best people watching and be a part of the history of Florence while enjoying delicious snacks and great drinks.More

We dropped by on the recommendation of a Rick Steve’s book. They judge harshly anyone who does speak fluent Italian. My co-companion was hard set on going there or else we would have left. They at first brushed us off as too busy. Then they...tried to brush us off again after we requested waiting a half of hour. After getter seated finally, they did not come to our table at all and were in fact clearly talking s*** about us in Italian. It was only after around 45 minutes that we physically stopped a waiter who told us to order at the bar. Bunch of words I can’t share because of travel advisory profanity rules. Don’t go there.More

Looking for coffee and some bread . Terras and shop looks really nice. But if you order panini make sure to walk in and check it out first. You pay 3 to 4.5 euro for them, but they are so small, you need 4 or...5 to have a proper breakfast or lunch. Which means 25 euro for a sandwich. They tried to convince me they are speciality But that doesn’t mean small and expensive for stuff I can make in 1 minute with normal ingredients. What we got was nice, but no relation price quality wise So this was not for usMore

Procacci is still Procacci! Has been spruced up many years ago but still keep the feeling of the original one. I was born in Florence and “i panini tartufati” are an institution and plenty of memories for me. Sitting outside, with the face mask removed,...the panini tartufati, an iced glass of Vermentino and my best friends: the perfect recipe to forget about Covid and the past, horrible 15 months!!! Mind you the prices are rather steep but…I didn’t mind!More

A lovely stop at this historical location on one of Florence's most beautiful streets. Truffle petit panino with a glass of Prosecco. If you love Negroni or Bloody Mary's this is the place for you!

Maybe drinking a glass of wine in that part of Florence is a privilege, but at these prices I would expect attentive service (particularly given the lack of tourists) and some nibbling with my wine

I texted some friends to say I had gone out for a glass of Franciacorta and a couple of panini with truffles and foie gras. It sounds absurdly decadent, but Procacci confute this with unfussy service and entirely reasonable prices (€6 for the wine, €2.50...for the truffle and foie gras sandwiches). Nice terrace on Via de' Tornabuoni.More
