Although the menu was in Italian the waiter explained whole menu to us. The food was amazing and the Florence steak is must try. We will surely be back. Remember they only take cash. Thanks for great Florence dinner

If you are looking for a "locals" place that serves authentic traditional Florentine cuisine, Dell Fagioli is a must. The menu is only in Italian so if you are uncomfortable with that go to Trattoria Marione. The food here is the real thing. The staff...is helpful. The prices are reasonable. Bring Cash!More

12/28/19 dinner: Ristorante del fagioli Very authentic Tuscan food, service and atmosphere. Owner/waiter explained entire menu to us. Menu was handwritten in Italian. I had spinach salad, artichokes and boiled meat and veggies. One in our family had some type of meatballs. Can’t remember what...other two in our family had but it was delicious. We had both dinner and lunch at Del Fagioli this past week and enjoyed both times. The space is cozy and we felt very welcomed. The service was friendly and was good at explaining dishes and helping us select what to order. The pici pasta...was excellent, as was everything else! Prices were very reasonable, around USD 12 for pasta dishes/mains.More

Our best meal in Italy as much for the food as the kindness and patience of the owner, Antonio. Due to a booking error on our part, they didn’t have our reservation on their books. They were totally committed and turned other walk in customers...away. We were disappointed and ready to leave when Antonio told us declaratively, “Don’t worry, you will eat here tonight.” The food was a true quality experience in Tuscan food. They explained EVERY item on the menu. We started with two soups: the Ribolito and the Papa Di Pomodoro. Both fantastic and so unlike any soup I have had because of the added bread. I ate these soups with a fork. Try one or both as starters. Pasta was next and we had the Penne and Picci. One had a meat sauce and the other plain tomato sauce. Simple and pure in flavors. We ended with a 1.3 kilo steak shared 4 ways which was charred on the outside and still mooing on the inside. Delicious. We also had beans and potatoes which were delicious and not mooing at all. Desert was a slice of homemade custard torte and a slice of apple/pear torte. Everyone, starting with Antonio, was gracious, warm and patient even though they had to squeeze to let us in. All in all, our most memorable meal in a trip filled with good meals.More
