Fantastic traditional dinner at Fagioli. Yes, its mostly tourists, and yes it's fast moving, but the food is delicious and well priced. As everyone says, the Florentine steak is well worth it, but don't miss out on some other stand outs like the ravioli with lemon (lemon in the pasta - divine, unique, never had anything like it before), the... Our best meal in Florence. Excellent authentic meal. We were undecided on what to order and they brought us several dishes to share family style.

This was a great restaurant, lovely staff and we decided to go for the Florentian steak which turned out to be a great idea. One of the best steaks I have ever had! Just a lovely evening in Florence.

Del Fagioli was recommended to us by a local, and it was our favorite meal in Florence by far (and maybe all of Italy). Super authentic, and absolutely delicious. We asked the owner to bring out his favorite dishes "family style", and each dish was more delicious than the next. 100% recommend!

We loved this place. Tuscan food cooked deliciously-- their meatballs were amazing! Camariere was helpf in selecting food and wine. Would definitely return.

Our family ate here with reservations on a Friday night. Delicious plate of beans, great bread, Florentine steak (we did one Kilo, but more recommended). Pappo al pomodoro soup as primi. Nice vibe. Not open on weekends. Tip: bathroom door in the back of restaurant painted into the wall.

Menu in Italian, but English translations available from the helpful waiters. Really good primi, slightly disappointing asparagus contorni (cold, and a little overcooked). Good wine suggestions. Happy to go back.

This restaurant was recommended to us by our host and it was very good. The first thing we noticed is that they do enormous steaks (if that's what you ask for). We had a smaller steak dish and a pasta with ricotta and pear dish which were both very nice, my steak served with traditional Tuscan potatoes.

We had read the good reviews and upon seeing a queue out the door on our first night in Florence we decided to book for or last night- we were not disappointed in the slightest! Ordered bruschetta and the ricotta ravioli to start- both were simple yet well made and so full of flavour, then the steak arrived- no sauce,... More
