This place is small and unassuming with a traditional Florentine atmosphere. I have eaten here twice and hope to return. They have great steaks and their tortelli, crostini and ribolitta are wonderful.

We discovered this restaurant a few years ago and we make sure we go back every time we are in Florence and this time was no different. We had a dinner of pasta and veal chop that was incredible. The food and serve are always...More

Great restaurant! We were looking for a traditional Italian restaurant and we found it. You need to make a reservation and they have 2 seatings (7:30 and 9:15) - we booked ours the day before and I guess we got lucky because the 7:30 seating...More

We came because we specifically wanted Bistecca Fiorentina and we were told this is their specialty! It was jam packed with people so we are glad we made a reservation. Not overly expensive or fancy for a steak house and it seemed to serve both...More

This is my favorite restaurant in Florence. Family run. Excellent house wine, starters, Florentine soups (ribollita, papa al pommodoro, zuppa di contadino- verdure). PIci is superb. The real strengths are the meats (bistecca, arista maiale, lombatino di vitello, filetino di manzo) and the stews (Spezzatino...More

My partner and I had to make a booking and come back another night because it was all booked out... definitely worth the wait. We were treated with some amazing traditional Florentine meals and they were to die for! Myself, I had the traditional meat...More

We got there at lunch time and it was packed, mostly with tourists and probably because of the michelin map recommendation. The menu was in Italian so we relied on the waiter's recommendation of ravioli stuffed with ricotta and covered in the most delicious olive...More

I think some people don’t understand Italian food! The pasta was perfectly al dente, the house wine not the best - but cheap! They leave the bottle but only charge for what you drink. After eating tourist fare and paying top whack for it, this...More

Rather disappointed with the food. The restaurant showed up in a UK food critics review of several restaurants of Florence. They have a cute venue, nice staff, and a decent menu. The food just doesn’t live up to the ratings though. It’s edible, but I...More
