Having done the Uffizi from 9:10-12:30, and heading to Santa Croce after lunch, this highly recommended restaurant, located between the two, was an easy choice. We got good advice on the spot from a retired professor of Italian and her husband, who had logged "at...More

We have visited this place on about 6-8 occasions over the last 25 years and it has never failed to perform at an outstanding level. The primary server (an owner) makes dining recommendations for their specials that are uniformly great. The offerings accommodated our parties...More

Stop and stare at the beauty and symmetry of the Basilica of Santa Croce any time day or night. Unraveling around it are a number of architectural and artistic masterpieces, from the Synagogue to the Central National Library. As a hub for young people, the area gets busy with people who want to have fun: a continuous flow of tourists and locals become animated by songs and dances.

Hi. Unfortunately I do not think they do take reservations. Best way, in my opinion, would be for you to call on them during the day, saying you would like to eat there, and arrange what time would be fine for both you and them. Sometimes it works. Local food there is quite an experience, so I hope you will be able to try it. Good luck!
