Ate here twice during our 4 day visit to Florence. Great food, friendly staff and good service despite being extremely busy on both our visits. Will definitely return on our next holiday in Florence.

For ten years we have returned over and over to Marione because of its great food, friendly service and a touch of what Italian food is really like. Another reason to visit is the great value for your money and huge portions. We highly recommend Trattoria Marione

My wife, son and his girlfriend visited after my son found on TripAdvisor on our first night in Florence. We had a short wait and were seated in the corner of the furtherest room from the front door. While we waited, we could tell it would be a treat as the freshly cut meats were on display in the entry... More

Had a dinner although i had no reservation. The service was friendly though not much english is spoken there.. Ordered pasta with a different combination than the menu and the kitchen had no problem and it was tasty and cheap! Well done!

Went here based on TripAdvisor recommendations and the look of the menu as we passed. We were told there was a bit of a wait for a table so booked in and went off to find a drink elsewhere. Upon returning, we waited more and eventually got a table which was squashed towards the back of the restaurant and didn't... More

My husband and I were in Florence for 5 days and ate here twice. The first time we had the ribolito soup to share and bistecca for two. The second time I had pasta and my husband had lamb. All dishes were very good. The staff is friendly and helpful as far as suggestions. The server from the first night... More

This is a very typical Italian restaurant. The pastas and the meat dishes were served quickly although the restaurant was full.

The food is good, and cheap. Is a small restaurant, and very crowd, and have a lot of young people. I recommend.

We walked in here on a recommendation of a friend. It was slightly before lunch time so we got a seat, but 15 minutes later the trattoria was filled to the brim. We had the bistecca and it was nice. Not amazing but good enough. Better than the bistecca we had in another restaurant which we paid a higher price... More

Staying in Duomo

Neighborhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
