My son and I got up and explored before everyone else got up. We were staying on this street so it was an easy stroll from the apartment. I had an excellent cup of coffee and he had a delicious pastry. No complaints, nice staff too. We sat outside.

My family has been here twice now and both times have been fabulous! The pastries and coffee are delicious. Also, the service is kind and efficient. Wish we had discovered it sooner.

Cannoli were great, especially a big one. I also tried pastry which was very tasty. Definitely worth a visit, plus the staff there is so friendly and funny.

This Cafe was right in front of our AirBnB and recommended by our host. We went in for breakfast on our 1st day and every day since then! Loved my favorite flaky croissant with Parma ham and mozzarella with their coffee and I changed my dessert daily to try them all haha! Wonderful sandwiches, good fair prices (not tourist ones),... I stumbled upon this place by chance. It is very unpretentious and filled with locals. They have an array of wonderful pastries for brekafast, personally I always get la sfoglie delle mele with my cappuccino, a crunchy, caramelly apple turnover. Yum! Yhey also have a lots of other sweet temptation to choose from, such as mini crostatas with fresh fruit... More

If you're looking for great sandwich and soup. This is the place. They have a menu of the day that has food from the kitchen and have pre-made sandwiches. Very affordable and tasty lunch!

This spot is filled with locals and does not try to be more than it is. It is perfect for a morning cappuccino and multiple pastries... They don't charge extra to sit and eat either. A great simple start to the day.

I love this place. Have been having coffee and pastry in here for about 4 years. I'm in Florence 6 months of the year. All the food, pastry is made on premises, packed with locals, great little terrace outside, no charge to eat at the table, great coffee. Lunch is delicious, and reasonable. Rocco and Silvio are fantastic people. Doesn't... More

Quality coffee and cakes! Very fine service at a cafe that has a huge local following. We had coffee and a cake each morning for 6 days that we were in Florence. The coffee was of a consistently high quality, we tried a different cake each day and each day thought it was better than the previous. We enjoyed lunch... More

Neighborhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
