We were lucky to find this nice place in busy Florence to sit outside and get some lunch. Service was very good. My husband's pasta was excellent and had a nice hint of spice. I ordered chicken salad which was in fact chicken with potatoes and green beans. I definitely preferred my husband's meal. Overall it was excellent value for... More

Came here for appertivos one evening in Florence and absolutely loved this place. For €7 you get a glass of wine and so many choices of foods to try and have as much as you want. The food was absolutely delicious with so much variety. The chef is so kind and very enjoyable to chat with. Would come back here... More

Very busy bakery serving delicious Italian pastries and savoury goods for breakfast. Lots of locals obviously eat here - beautifully served pastries and coffee. So good we had breakfast here twice!

Pretty good sandwiches. Loved the latte and nice service. No complaints from me. Only cost us €11 euro for the above. Would go again.

This caffe is a bit more off the tourist tracks, and with so many patisseries around it is easy to just pick the first one you see. However, having passed this place one morning, seeing it rather busy and most importantly seeing the Cannolo Siciliana in the window we had to make a stop. Absolutely delicious food, both sweet and... More

My son and I got up and explored before everyone else got up. We were staying on this street so it was an easy stroll from the apartment. I had an excellent cup of coffee and he had a delicious pastry. No complaints, nice staff too. We sat outside.

My family has been here twice now and both times have been fabulous! The pastries and coffee are delicious. Also, the service is kind and efficient. Wish we had discovered it sooner.

Cannoli were great, especially a big one. I also tried pastry which was very tasty. Definitely worth a visit, plus the staff there is so friendly and funny.

This Cafe was right in front of our AirBnB and recommended by our host. We went in for breakfast on our 1st day and every day since then! Loved my favorite flaky croissant with Parma ham and mozzarella with their coffee and I changed my dessert daily to try them all haha! Wonderful sandwiches, good fair prices (not tourist ones),... I stumbled upon this place by chance. It is very unpretentious and filled with locals. They have an array of wonderful pastries for brekafast, personally I always get la sfoglie delle mele with my cappuccino, a crunchy, caramelly apple turnover. Yum! Yhey also have a lots of other sweet temptation to choose from, such as mini crostatas with fresh fruit... More

Neighborhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
