We were looking for a little more of a sit down for our final night in Florence. Our original option was booked so we wandered down the street to this establishment, a serendipitous opportunity. There were many options on this menu but you’re here for the manzo (beef). Whether it’s bisteco Fiorentina (bring your fat pants) or several other griglia... More

A friend recommended the restaurant to me and it was great! I ordered the "spaghetti dell'ubriacione" and honestly I have never had a pasta like this before

I booked here because a friend recommended it. It's a chilled out place. The drunken pasta (cooked using red wine) was a novelty which was fun to try. But the main course was the main event. Of course there are plenty of good places in the city where you can find a decent Steak Florentine. I can't pretend to know... More

The food was really authentic and I love the passion the chef puts into selling his dishes. It's one of those places where the menu is crafted well and the dishes and executed well too!

I used to live across the street from this restaurant, and have gone back several times over the years because it has always been consistently outstanding. The service is wonderful. The underground seating is magical. The food!! I always say every meal in Italy is the best meal of your life, but everything I've ever eaten at this restaurant was... More

On a recommendation from our landlord, my husband and I dined outside at De'Benci on Monday, April 18. Our experience was delightful. The service was friendly and attentive, but not obtrusive. We shared a platter of Parma ham and salami from Greve, an insalata mista, Eliche Piccanti Parmagiana e Guancia di Maiale, and a bottle of wine-- €55. A lovely... More

Having been to Florence twice before I was looking forward to eating here. The drunken spaghetti was still good, but the chicken which I enjoyed before was dried out and overcooked. The locals told us it changed hands and has gone downhill since then. Disappointed.

Highly recommend! The staff are so friendly and make you feel right at home- starting with a welcome drink of presecco and after dinner drink of zibibbo. The risotto, focaccia, and vegetable ravioli were delicious. This was our first stop on our first night, arriving at 10pm, and was recommended by a local. Enjoy!

I ordered the spiral pasta with ricotta and oregano, husband ordered peppered (spicy) spirals with olice oil, garlic etc... His dish beat mine hands down. Fairly small restaurant, service attentive without being omnipresent or overbearing, wine fairly expensive per glass. My pasta ended up like a solid mass of pasty pasta and my husbands stayed marvelously tender, flavourful and appetising.
