A real highlight of our day trip to Firenze. Delicious food. Very good prices. Cozy outdoor seating in a small piazza. Extraordinarily wonderful service. Definitely check out the wine for sale inside the shop. They focus on offering small producers of quality. The introduction to...More

Great local wine bar with small bites across the Ponte Vecchio. It's a bit small inside but lots of outdoor seating is available. If you want to order food alongside your wine, I highly recommend ordering any of their crostone.

Had lunch here after seeing it mentioned in Rough Guide and it didn’t disappoint, lots of local wine and french wine to choose from and reasonably priced. The cheese and meat platter was explained and we tasted different varieties that we would not have normally...More

So, we live in Florence a few months every year. Last year we didn’t get a chance to visit Le Volpi, they were remodeling. I was excited to see them back and open this year. I went in for some wine and a snack a...More

A wonderful small winebar on the other side of Arno. Crossing Ponte Vecchio and to the left. Small dish with ham, salami and cheese with a perfect glas of wine in the lovely atmosphere.

Almost hidden on a side road next to the overcrowded Ponte Vecchio you will find this tiny bar. It is perfect for tasting local wine and local specialities (cured meat, cheese and small appetizers). Everyone there is passionate and knowledgeable about wine and food. It...More

Until today, I would have said no, but I am almost positive that I saw a tray with six bottles of beer on it being delivered to a table. It looked like beer from northern Italy or German region. I will ask next time I go.
