Never saw this approach to kids in Italy. We came to the restaurant with 1yo and 13yo. The waiter (tall and nice looking young man) offered to move us to the second hall with no people and sign of life. I went to have a look and refused mentioning that there were stairs there and she could fall down. He... More

From the pasta with sausage and black truffle, to the stuffed squash flower, to the rabbit florentine, this places serves up truly gourmet and distinctive Florentine cuisine at reasonable prices with warm and unpretentious service. I recommend watching the sunset over Florence and getting a panoramic view of the city from Piazzale Michelangelo (15 mins away) and then coming here... More

We were looking for an authentic local restaurant to dine in on our first day in Florence. Our hotel recommended this place and made the reservations for us. We were the only ones at 7:15 pm which we thought was odd. But we realized that many eat dinner closer to 8:30 to 9:30 pm since it got crowded as we... More

I could not fault this lovely restaurant with brilliant and efficient staff and delightful food which was extremely good and true to its traditions and local area. There was a clear sense of pride in everything and this translated to the front of house. Would heartily recommend. Gnocchi with zucchini flowers and clams was excellent, umbrichelli pasta with sausage meat... More

This is a good place to go if you don't care for the chain Italian restaurants found in the U.S. and want to experience true Tuscan cuisine. I lived in Florence many years ago before it became touristy and this place brought me back to the food I used to have. I particularly enjoyed the zucchini flower fritters - wrapped... More

This was recommended to us by a local. It is tucked away a bit but worth the trip. When we first arrived there was a big party in so at forst it looked like wewould not get seated in the main room, but the staff quickly found us a table and were very attentive and friendly. The food certainly looked... More

One year after my first visit, I had to go back and was far from being disappointed. They serve you very nice food, they also have air conditioning which is important during summer! The service can be quite slow tough...

We were served by 1 of the owners who is a chef and could explain the dishes detailed to the last twist or final touch... Great food simple but keeping the taste to a maximum. Will come Back for sure.

In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
