A true experience of good food, great hospitality and a small but delicious place, with a menu that always changes, based on seasonality. Fish-based dishes, with first choice and very fresh raw materials, with generous portions. Excellent advice from Mr. Leo. Excellent selection of wines. Open only for lunch. Don't miss this gem!!!

Disappointing experience... In the photos you can see that there is spaghetti with seafood or fisherman instead it is nothing true YOU MUST eat obligatory dumplings alla pescatore! Then we opted for gnocchi but they were not fisherman but categorically mussels while a few minutes before at the table in front they had brought a tray with dumplings fisherman loaded with shrimp.... Evidently they were finished... And he was keen to point out presumptuously that the recipe is varied..... Also for 15 minutes late he held his nose all lunch.... It is true that my brother was coming from Marche so to be 15 minutes late is... Given the traffic of Florence..... Because he told us that at 1:30 p.m., he would need the table because more people would come... We left at 1:50 p.m. but I didn't see anyone waiting. Food nothing great the squid, cod and frozen shrimp... That's all I'm saying!

Intimate restaurant featuring bite-sized dishes and varying dishes of the day.
Good tartare, excellent first courses and also variations on the second courses.
For good wine, ask Leonardo for advice
Correct spending.

We ate everything. We couldn’t decide
so we took the mussels, tuna tartare, risotto, and the tuna tagliata. Everything was perfect. The mussels were the best I’ve had. We had a very good bottle of white wine, dessert, dessert wine, coffee... basically the whole menu. The bill was under 70€. Couldn’t reccomend this place more.

We went for a graduation party, choosing it based on the reviews on Tripadvisor, which did not disappoint us. Small but very welcoming place, Leonardo too, very in love with his work and able to offer you excellent fish cooked in a perfect way, tasty and plentiful, the wines from the Marche are also good. I recommend it to everyone, unfortunately it is only open for lunch, but it is really worth it

Santa Maria Novella
Santa Maria Novella train station welcomes the majority of the people arriving in Florence, which might explain the hectic pace. Commuters and tourists come across the constant hustle and bustle of the station before exiting, taking a few steps and stopping amazed in Piazza di Santa Maria Novella. It is impossible not to admire the the square, housing one of the most charming basilicas in Florence. The area has plenty of local spots to taste Tuscan specialties, but don’t stop in the main streets alone; the narrower side streets always ensure satisfaction. The huge Parco Delle Cascine provides a solution to the need for a green area as well as a historic welcome in the form of a bronze statue of King Vittorio Emanuele II riding a horse.
