My daughter and I dined here on a Monday evening and it was very busy, I suggest reservations. The food was delicious! We started with the Burrata and fig appetizer and shared the pear pasta and ravioli. It was all amazing including the cheesecake which is a house specialty. Overall one of the best dinners we had in Florence.

A pity for a restaurant in such a genuine surrounding to serve second class food.. With no taste appart from the name of the plate. Maybe pleasent for tourists but not for Italian food lovers... Last time.. Living in Florence

We scheduled our reservation before arriving in Florence. The restaurant replied within a day or so to provide us with a confirmation. When we arrived, we did have a reservation (glad the reservation system worked!). The meal was good overall. I thought the best part of the meal was the ficchetti di pear (pear pasta) in cream sauce. It had... More

We sat outside, and even though it was hot there was a little breeze. Some street musicians were playing in the piazza which made the meal more enjoyable. The owner came to talk to us and offer suggestions and the food was wonderful.

Unfortunately this is a terrible restaurant. A classic tourist trap of marginal food at best! The location is great but that is precisely the problem… they can afford to offer average service and marginal food because of the steady stream of people in this fantastic area.

Just imagine being in a lovely square in Florence and finding there a bueautiully located nicely-looking restaurant. What do you do? Enter of course hoping that the food and service would be equally lovely. The disappointment, however, might be grave. While sitting at the table we could observe the waiters not leting people get in because they wanted a snack... More

Don't let the Italian menu and location fool you. This place is a straight up tourist meca. Taste like Olive Garden but with stale bread. I could have been in anywhere America beside a Bed Bath and Beyond.

We ended up eating in Trattoria 4 Leoni because our restaurant of choice was closed for the August holidays but we certainly weren't disappointed. It was a beautiful, hot day so we asked for a table outside on their very cute terrace. Piazza della Passera is a lovely square so this was the perfect lunch location. The waiters were initially a... My boyfriend and I booked a dinner for 2 at this trattoria for our last dinner in Florence. We went to the restaurant on time (10pm) to get our table. The manager looked at me as if i was crazy asking for a table - I told him, I have a reservation in fact. He checked and said it wasn't... More

Great experience. My wife visited the same restaurant a few years back and enjoyed a salad. She mentioned it to the waitress who went out of her way to replicate the salad and made sure that our meal was memorable. Great house wine and very good comfort food.

Staying in Pitti

Neighborhood Profile
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
