Four of us had lunch at Trattoria 4 Leoni in June. Our waiter was informative and attentive. We were all pleased with our meals. This restaurant is a bit more expensive than others in Florence but worth the extra money!

It was our second time at 4 Leoni - first time we've been delighted, now - we were really disappointed. The waitress was rude and unhelpful. She even forgot to serve us bread. We ordered crostini misti for starters and I must say it was the first time we got stale bread in Italy. Really, few days before we got... More

Had lunch here, when visiting Florence. It's a bit out of the way, in a quiet piazza. The food was excellent, the waiters polite and knowledgable. The wine very good too. Well worth a visit if you are looking for somewhere to rest and eat after a day wondering around Florence.

We went on the recommendation of a friend. What a find! We had a table on the patio watching the beautiful square. Portions are larger than typical Florence, prices reasonable and our server, Rosselle, was a delight. Our appetizers alone would have been an amazing dinner; for mains we had osso buco in a white wine sauce and tripe. Both... More

RESERVATIONS are required and we made ours 4 months in advance. This is not a pretentious place however, it's just that good. We dined on the terrace and enjoyed a soft breeze that was essential on a warm summer night. Dine after dark and enjoy the evening activities in the little square this charming places sits on. We loved the... More

Brilliant atmosphere, great food. Make sure you book as they are turning people away. Plus, as an added bonus a guy who must be Stanley Tucci's brother is the Maitre D'Hotel! Awesome. Plus superb recommendation for wine.

very unwelcoming staff - spoke to us like they did not want our custom. We hardly ordered anything in the end as we decided early on that we wanted to leave and eat somewhere else, after having already felt unfriendly vibes and seen there was nothing of particular interest to us on the menu (which we were not shown until... We dined here twice in our 5 day stay in Florence. The food is excellent. It's a simple menu but good quality choices. Great atmosphere and a nice neighborhood. Definitely make a reservation, especially for the patio. Don't miss it!

the place of the restaurant was very nice and it is better if you call and book before you arrive to make sure there is a place for you. We had antipasti cheese with honey and jam and that was super tasty. Then I ordered their famous pear pasta that was amazing and having an explosion of tastes which were... More

Neighborhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
