We visited Cortona for a week, and the first three nights we stepped out for dinner. La Loggetta was our first stop, and we liked it so much we returned later in the week for a second visit. First-rate food and service, comfortable inside seating,...and what looked to be very popular outdoor seating as well. Highly recommended if you're visiting Cortona. Fantastic food, service and atmosphere right in the center of a great, small Italian town. The Chianina steak was awesome, although a bit much for me to eat. But it was so good I ate it all anyway!
This meal was so special for my Aunt's 70th birthday trip. The ingredients / dishes from the cheeses to the zucchini flowers to the delicious pasta dishes to the steak to the best tiramisu I've ever had were all top notch. You could just tell...that the ingredients were absolutely fresh and amazing.... best meal we've had in Italy this trip. The service was amazing - we especially enjoyed our conversations with the sommelier. Highly recommend!More

We had the zucchini flower and the tagliere.foe appetizer and was just yummy...followed by zucca ravioli that looked like tortelloni and the fettucce with guanciale ragù, perfect. This is our second time at the restaurant . An excellent spot for great food ( Had the pasta ( Chingake , tagliatelle with truffles , Veal, amongst excellent appetizers. Nothing disappointed. Our favorite meal in Cortona, the food was fantastic, service was excellent, setting was very nice. I'll start by saying I've never had a sommelier say that he didn't recommend the wine we ordered because it wasn't showing well and he then recommended something else...that was showing much better and it was cheaper!! He was right, great Brunello! The zucchini flowers, exceptional, the carbonara was the best I've had, everything was exceptional. Highest recommendation but make sure you make a reservation in advance.More
We had a superb lunch at La Loggetta - ravioli pockets of ricotta, prawn, and scallop, tagliolini with porcini mushrooms and pine nuts. The service was excellent, polite and knowledgeable.
The food the atmosphere & the location is absolutely beautiful!!! We had the most delicious meal & will forever be a favorite in Cortona
