My family visited Cortona and we're lucky enough to to have dinner here! The food was absolutely amazing... And even more spectacular was the staff!! Call and book ahead of time as it's very intimate, but not stuffy at all! We had a fantastic time and I highly recommend anyone visiting Cortona to have dinner here!

Very charming and small place on a steep (typical of Corona) side street. The decor is rustic Tuscan. The menu is Tuscan food with local fresh ingredients. The only disappointment was with the reservation. About 3 weeks before I had confirmed a reservation for a table of eight persons with the intention of having a welcome dinner to start our... More

The food was great! The three of us sat outside so that was a bit tight. The owner was a bit "overly present" for my tastes but the food was spot on. Excellent pastas and just a stone's throw from the parking lot.

We reserved tabel as advised on the website and it was also necessary. The interior was very 'Tuscan' and the waiting was efficient and pleasant. We went because the restaurant is mentioned by Michelin and also in the travel book Lonely Planet and we did also have a very nice meal in a nice restaurant but have experienced other nice... More

The most popular restaurant in Cortona. It's better than Average (one Tripadvisor rating) but not Very Good (which is the next Tripadvisor rating). I would call it Good - but it's not the best in town - that's Cortona Bistrot. My wife's ravioli was more than al dente - it was undercooked and hard. My meal was acceptable. The highlight... More

The place is nice and promising. However the owner is rude, bossy with waiters and have preferred clients while ignoring others. Long story short, I will never go back to such place.

We have dinned here once previously. The wine selection is spectacular. The owners are a couple - the wife is the head chef and the husband is the maitre d'. Food specialities on the menu include what is fresh and in season. Do try the pici with pecorino cheese - made table side. It's an experience!

Firstly, let me say the restaurant itself is charming. It is on a back street and forms the lower part of the building so there are few Windows and little natural light. That might sound off putting but Cortona is based on a hill so many of the buildings have an element below street level. It has fantastic stone walls... More

This was our second time to Cortona but the first time to this restaurant. This place is situated a short distance from the main piazza. We sat indoors but there were 3 or 4 tables for 2 outside. A very nice decor with stone walls welcomes you along with a menu and wine list of good variety. The Owner also... More

We had a group of 10 for a great dinner. We were lucky to get reservations at the last minute. The food and service were first rate. This award-winning "typical Tuscan" restaurant lived up to its accolades. The owner, Romano (who was born upstairs), carefully supervises the entire operation and spent some time with us making it a more festive... More
