Our hotel recommended this restaurant and the fish was superb. Seafood linguine was packed with shellfish and the mixed plate of grilled fish was generous and delicious, lovely wine and service too. I'd like it even more if the lighting wasnt so bright.

Wonderful seafood meal for the 6 of us. I ordered the involtini expecting rolls of swordfish but they were more like croquettes and not very ‘fishy’. When the waiter saw that I wasn’t happy with my choice he offered to change it for the grilled swordfish . This was absolutely delicious. My friends really enjoyed their oysters, soup and grilled platters of fish.
Great service. I’d highly recommend this restaurant.

My husband was blown away by their minestrone. He is one who needs a good soup for happines :). As a family we had salad and risotto both with seafood, pizza, tuna steak, spaghetti, piece od watermelone, wine and non-alcoholic drinks. Everything absolutely fresh and tasty. On two occasions (yes, a place to return) we paid about 90€ and 70€. We only waited for about 15 minutes for our dinner. Staff is attentive.

We went twice, the first time we had lovely wine, we took a photo of the bottle to try and buy it. The food was also very nice.
The second time we went we asked for the same wine, which they found, but its price had increased from 14.50 euros to 25 over the four days! Then we asked for the meat meal which identified on the menu as oven cooked meat with vegetables, what we got was fried escalop with salad. Just really dissapointing.

A pleasant menu of dishes including pizzas and seafood, pasta. Which are positives. Also the pleasant and professional behavior of the staff was pleasant. The negatives are, for example, the smaller sizes of the pizzas, the very expensive "house wine" but above all the charging of a high couvert (8 euro) only for the brought miniature oschata with bread. The location of the garden on the sidewalk right next to a busy road is also a disadvantage.

We dined here every night as no other restaurant in the whole area came close to service quality and value for money. Franco Adil and Anna looked after us with 5 star service. Will be dining there next year also.

Lovely restaurant with a menu to suit everyone. My friend and I liked it so much we went back twice, and each dish was really good. The fish and seafood options were great, fresh and tasty, and the other options we had were also top quality.
The service was friendly and prompt, we felt really relaxed and enjoyed eating here, and it was a fantastic part of a very memorable holiday.

We ate here 3 times over a period of 3 weeks and each time it was exceptional. Broad and diverse menu, incredibly flavourful food, and wonderfully friendly and efficient service. We couldn’t help but to return several times. Highly recommend. The best restaurant that we visited in Taormina (out of many)

This place was recommended by our B&B and was located very close by. Cute place but one guy on duty for the whole restaurant and a sense of urgency was definitely not going on. I had a reservation and had went to the counter to check in. I was seated, my friend arrived and then we waited and waited. Tried to make eye contact with the guy and after about 15 minutes, we realized we could be dead of old age before we'd ever get served. Not rude, just completely inattentive. I realize the place was way understaffed but at least an acknowledgment of service at some point would have been sufficient. Don't recommend.

The mozzarella tomato salad was just unripe and inedible tomatoes.

Found by chance, we were attracted by the fixed menu which we found to our liking, appetizers, seafood risotto, fish main course (slice), sorbet. We found everything pleasant in taste and overall also in quantity (but we are no longer "gluttons" like before). Of course, we were a little surprised by the fact that drinks were not included (at least water could be included) which, with a cover charge, increased the bill. Little transparency therefore, even if the service was kind and quick and the place is simple and informal in the style of old trattorias.

Recently went on a family vacation to Taormina and stopped by Ristorante Sapori di Mare da Franco e Adil. My family and I absolutely loved it. The staff really made us feel welcome and treated us like family. YOu can tell by the way the owners, Adil and Franco, talk bout their food that they are very passionate about Sicilian culture and cuisine. We couldn't stop coming back! We were in Taormina for about a week, and I'm not exaggerating when I say we went back at least 4-5 times. That speaks to not only how great the food was, but how personable, kind, and considerate the staff was. We loved the pasta and seafood is definitely a must. We would recommend Ristorante Sapori di Mare da Franco e Adil to anyone visiting Taormina!

Recommended by our guide, dinner at Sapori di Mare was absolutely fantastic! Small, quaint, family run on the main road just outside the city gates, it is obviously a local's favorite! Via our Taormina guide, our dinner was ordered ahead of time. Our 4 course dinner was presented beautifully, fresh and flavorful, superb wines and attentive staff. Truly our best meal during the 5 days in Taormina! They also make pizzas which looked great. A must visit and reservations are suggested!

Service staff either overwhelmed (lady) or arrogant (waiter). The aperitif course came with the starter and the quality wasn't that great either. The caponata was a better ratatouille, the lemon sauce for the schnitzels was floury... below average quality for the price. The ambience was typically Italian, but not that outstanding.
