Dining at Trattoria de Gabriele is more than just a wonderful dining expereince. It is also filled with warmth, character, personality, innovative tastings, and a sharing of laughter and history. Multi generational in origin. Trattoria de Gabriele is exquisite in its cooking and presentation of...meals. The owners, take great pride in sourcing and growing the ingredients in their meals. Gabriele, wants each person to find their own joy in her cooking and along with Andy they ensure each guest is made to feel special in their own right. It is easy to insist that you go to Gabriele's for the "food", and for that you certainly must go, but there is so much more to explore in your time shared dining in this beautiful restaurant. There is history, there is family, there is happiness, romanticism and beautiful scenery. Enjoy the wonderful experience of dining at Trattoria de Gabrielle as much as we have and did in our last visit there. It is a destination in and of itself. Enjoy!More

Ate many dinners over the course of a week stay in Taormina. Food was always fresh, delicious, and timely. Waitstaff was always friendly and accomodating. Made to feel very comfortable and at home.

Top food, top service, top spot. We came for dinner with reservation in la Trattoria de Ugo during our stay in Taormina ( beauty of a city). We ordered some recommandations of the day (by the owner i suppose) and some other more tradtionnal dishes...(squid, porcini, anchovies...) everything was delicious, well seasonned and well well cooked. It is simple.presented but when you have such products, not messing with it is key. From antipasti to dessert and cafe everything was spot on. So again hat down ! We will come back. Ps. Almond wine is a must try !! Nico et sarahMore

Came across this restaurant on our first night in Taormina. Gabrielle, the owner, advised us on a delicious bottle of local wine. He talked us through the specials and I enjoyed tagliatelle with porcini and red shrimp. My husband had swordfish. Delicious food, attentive service...and a good atmosphere. We finished on a complimentary glass of homemade almond wine. Lovely evening- recommend.More

We were here back in September. Someone in our hotel recommended it so we gave it a go. Went back there numerous times the whole 2 weeks we were there. Family run restaurant, Fabulous food, freshly cooked and all local ingredients. Gabriel who runs it...was brilliant advising wines with certain foods. The mixed cheese starter was excellent, the pasta dishes we had and the lamb. Wish we could have stayed longer to sample lots of other dishes. Next time we go back to Taormina we will definitely be going back. Well worth a visit.More

After discovering this restaurant I came here every night the last three nights! The food was excellent. I had the cannelloni one day and the linguine delizia twice. Also my local friend who accompanied me the last time agreed that the food was really delicious....Add to that a very nice family who everyone contributed to the needs of the guests. They are also very generous. When ordering a glass of wine they poured generously, not like in some other restaurants. And after the meal they offered a glass of their homemade almond wine, a special recipe with peel of orange added which made it taste really good. I will definitely come back on my next visit to Taormina!!More

I solo traveled to Sicily and stopped in Taormina for a couple days. During this time, I came to this restaurant 3 times! The food was amazing for the price and the manager/owner was so nice! He gave me free tasting of almond wine made...by his family for the restaurant and it was delicious. The staff is friendly and efficient as well. The pricing is reasonable, much better than the restaurants on the square. I highly recommend any of the seafood pastas and the pizzas.More

Visited here on the evening of my wife’s birthday. The service was first class, and the food equally as good Washed down with a jug of lovely Sicilian “house red”... it all made for a lovely evening.
