We had lunch at Trattoria Tiramisu, recommended by our hotel. Excellent food, subtle tastes everywhere... today’s special antipasti was fish carpaccio... superb ! Melanzane involtine were a magnificent mixture of tastes, with mint, pinion nuts and capers.. the fish and pasta were superlative and the service both highly efficient and friendly; reasonable prices for the location and good wine recommendations- and of course an excellent tiramisu for dessert. The only negative: no view (although the beautiful dishes partly make up for it) but the prices reflect that. All in all a very good place to try out ! And the number of local customers attests to the quality and good price

I had a delicious dish of macaroni with scampi and tuna and pesto sauce. The pasta was fresh and the sauce was not too overbearing. My brother and sister ordered seafood linguine, which I think had an excellent sauce.
The prices are twice as expensive than what I would find in Syracuse for example. One of us found hair not once but twice in her food, which the waitress sincerely apologised for and actually took the pasta and service charge from the bill. Very sweet of her.

Handy location with great food. Our hotel recommended and we were not disappointed
Food. All dishes were obviously freshly cooked and flavoursome. Menu choices were typical Sicilian options we really enjoyed calamari and tiramisu was a hit
Ambience - this is a small restaurant and you feel like your in a home. Kitchen is in view and chefs energy is great
Book ? Recommend booking as it’s a small restaurant
Pricing : reasonable similar to most In Taormina
Would I go again - absolutely

We arrived as the restaurant opened in the evening and were happy to be given a table without a reservation. It didn’t take long to fill up. The friendly service team mentioned the specials of the day including the prices and we opted for a combination of dishes from the menu and the specials of the day. The food was well presented and tasted great. The linguine with lobster was just one of the delights. If we had stayed longer in Taormina, we would have returned. Thank you.

We returned to this trattoria again this year as we had such a good experience a few years back when we last visited Taormina and it did not disappoint! we ordered an array of fish/meat/ pasta dishes and all were amazingly tasty. Service was a bit slow but they were understaffed which was quite common this year in most restaurants in Taormina. Quality of ingredients is very good and dishes are very well executed. Strongly recommend this restaurant - also good value as well.

My 3rd visit this year and I will keep returning . The food as always is excellent , we had a plate of fish crudo to start with , and some opted for veal as a main super good. The service especially by Irina who had to deal with 8 noisy people was first class , and the price for all this very reasonable . Will be back again . Thank you mimmo and son plus all the staff for making me feel at home as always .

Cannot fault any aspect of our experience, recommend (we were recommended initially by a Sicilian ).
Service: We were initially told the restaurant was fully booked for the evening but were offered a reservation for the next day. However, the restaurant kindly adjusted their seating to accommodate us then and there which was appreciated. We were then introduced to the menu and the specials. The service was attentive and was not pushy or lacklustre. We were served by the restaurant owner.
Food: We sampled a varied menu, with ravioli, caponata, tuna and swordfish. All dishes were superbly cooked and had a great taste. The ingredients are of high quality. We went for an Etna white wine, which had a refreshing 'zing' to it and complemented the fish well.
Atmosphere: The restaurant is a little cosy, but does not feel claustrophobic. People are smartly dressed which gave the meal a sense of occasion. Music was playing but at a level that allowed us to talk without it being intrusive. It was a place to have good food and wine, in a relaxed atmosphere that felt exclusive.

The service began with a basket of stale bread (a ‘coperto’ for which they charge 3.50). Couldn’t eat it, I’d feed it to the animals. “Service” if that’s the word, was careless. A simple cocktail, ordered when we sat down, was delivered after the appetizers were finished and the main course had begun. Burrata was tasteless and runny. “Soup with mussels” consisted of mussels cooked in extremely salty water. Pasta was overcooked, which normally never happens in Italy. Trying to talk to the owner elicited only a shrug. Really bad food, I was puzzled from whom they got positive reviews…

We had our last dinner in Taormina here and it was a lovely way to end a beautiful trip. We were seated right by the bar and kitchen. It was a busy night so servers were running back and forth creating a bustling atmosphere.
For an antipasti, we ordered the Salmon Dumplings. The presentation was very aesthetically pleasing and the pumpkin puree added a nice flavor. The actual salmon dumpling was not the best fish we've had in Italy but it was it was very tender.
For our primi, we ordered the Homemade Ravioli with Fillet Filling and the Lobster Linguine (Special of the day). Again, the presentation was fun especially the Lobster Linguine. The overall taste was good but I would not rank this as the best pasta we've had in Italy.
The complimentary bread and breadsticks were not fresh; it did tasted very commercialized and not homemade.
The price for this meal was more expensive than some of the other meals in Taormina and this is likely because it's located right in the heart of the main street, close to the Piazza. It was a bit difficult to get our server's attention as they were quite busy but everyone was very friendly. If you are looking for a restaurant near the Piazza that offers a variety of pastas and seafood, this may be worth checking out. My regret is that we were too full for the Tiramisu which looked amazing!

The restaurant is family owned and is quite small. We didn't make a reservation and to be honest I expected to have to wait for a table but was seated within less then 10 mins. The table was small and it was a struggle to fit all of the dishes and glasses but the staff were fabulous and went out of their way and actually moved other tables to make room for a roll away small table for us. The food was amazing but what I was more impressed with was the exceptional service. The waiters were very attentive but not so much so that you felt rushed. Our waiter was absolutely amazing and made sure that our dining experience was pleasurable. It was my birthday and I was surprised with a birthday candle in my dessert and a complimentary glass of white wine. Each diner I think also gets a complimentary glass of limoncello at the end of the meal which is a nice touch.
This was the perfect way to end my trip to Sicily and I would highly recommend this restaurant not only for the amazing food but also for the excellent service.

The food is very overpriced, we both ordered ravioli and received about 6 pieces each. In a place like Taormina maybe that can be expected sometimes, BUT we were made to feel incredibly unwelcome here. The service is very poor: we waited about 20 minutes to even be acknowledged, then requested oil for bread twice which never came, then as soon as our measly portions of pasta were done our plates were whipped from beneath us. It’s like they couldn’t wait to get rid of us, despite the fact we spent €90 on 2 plates of pasta and 2 desserts.

Myself and my husband initially came to the restaurant specifically for the Tiramisu, however we ended up having one of our favorite meals in Taormina here! We hadn’t booked a table in advance (big mistake) however the waitress was nice enough to fit us in even though the restaurant was almost full.
I had the pesto pasta which was delightful & my husband had the special of the day which was also delicious.
We ended the dinner on the tiramisu which certainly lived up to the high expectations as it was perfect.

What a beautiful restaurant set in the prettiest garden we have seen in Taormina. Sitting amongst lemon trees all prettily lit created the most enchanting and beautiful ambience. It felt so luxurious and yet tranquil and natural.
The food was outstanding and we thanked the talented chef on our way home. Do not miss the delicious eggplant with the mozzarella foam - it was absolutely incredible. We followed with beautifully cooked steak in a herb crust accompanied by a truly lovely grillo wine.
The staff were so professional, welcoming and lovely that we complemented them to the owner. Unreservedly, and warmly recommend this beautiful restaurant.

This place was recommended to us by our hotel. From the outside it doesn’t seem special but as soon as you walk in you get a sense that it is. The food is delicious and the service friendly and fast. I recommend the Parmigiana and the seafood linguine. Portions are generous so make sure you leave space for tiramisu, which is extremely good! Booking is a good idea as it does get full.

The server was very professional and helpful. He recommended us some dishes like calamari made in Sicilian way and it was really good. His wine recommendation was also very good. I definitely want to try the rest of the menu.
