Had a great afternoon here, had the mussels and bruschetta for an entree which was delightful and fresh. Had pasta and the oven roasted sea bass for a main. Great wine pairing with local Sicilian wine. Defiantly recommend.
We had a leisurely drink overlooking Isola Bella, which was so much prettier and a much better view, than the other restaurants round the main side.
There is also a beach platform for hiring sunbeds and a diving centre at the end.
We did a...boat excursion from the restaurant with Pepe, it was 25€ each and took around an hour. He was brilliant and took us to the Blue Grotto, the Love Cave, the Sirens Cave, Cactus Rock and round to the other side of Taormina, where we had the option of swimming. Highly recommend the trip, a drink or lunch in the restaurant!More
We went here for a late leisurely lunch. It was such a lovely experience with a table overlooking the sea watching the world go by.
The food was delicious. We shared started- caprese salad, bruschetta with anchovies. Mains were fresh fish - which was superb...value and lovely tasting, and risotto.
House white was was great value and tastes
Highly recommend this place.More
We spent a week in lovely Taormina and discovered Pizzichella, an open air restaurant by the sea with a view of Isola Bella island.
Very friendly and attentive service from Manuela. Delicious fresh fish and pasta dishes and the house white wine is good too!...We will return Manuela.More
We chose this restaurant for having lunch as it is on a beautiful location near the see with a nice view on Isola Bella. Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed with the food and the service. We ordered melon with prosciutto as shared starter, which...was quite good. However, after a few minutes our main dishes already came to the table (while still enjoying our starter). We got a weak excuse from the waitress for serving too early, according to her ‘it was already done and would get cold otherwise’. For main dishes we got the spaghetti vongole, which was very tasty, and the ravioli, which was very disappointing. The ravioli was not fresh at all and the shrimps served with it were definitely not unfrozen before starting to make the dish. All in all, I would not recommend having lunch/ dinner here.More
We discovered this restaurant on Tripadvisor and were impressed by reviews and photos, and when arriving we were not disappointed. The view was beautiful and fresh air made the meal that much more enjoyable. The staff were lovely, specifically one woman who spoke fluent English...and was more than happy to help us with our choices, explaining the dishes and specials, suggesting wine and contorni to go along with them. She was so excited that we enjoyed our meal, and just presented a very positive atmosphere. We started with brushetta, and then had the fresh grilled SeaBass along with the capunatina, as recommended to us by the lovely aforementioned waitress (we believe her name was Manuela...). It is slightly pricey, but after all it is 1kg of fresh fish plus extras. It was a beautiful meal by the sea. Will definitely go back.More
This is a poor restaurant.
The toilet is disgusting which shows no pride.
That’s why it gets 1.
The menu is extensive but from what I saw food was not good.
They can cook a fish but that’s all.
In my view if you own...a restaurant then you have on the menu what your good at and not what you are rubbish at.
Don’t have the salad
Don’t have the risotto
Don’t have chips
Don’t have a sandwich
The fish was cooked well but better value elsewhere.
Shame really because the beach setting was beautiful.More
The food was just amazing. Fresh seafood, simple yet very tasty dishes and well-served portion. Service was also exceptional, very friendly staff. And the view of Isola Bella makes it even more special.
The food was fantastic. The waiters who are working there are little bit rude and make fun of the tourists, Other than this all is good. The view, the taste of the food and cleannes was really good. The only bad thing with this restaurant...is the waiters who are really joking and make fun with the tourists. The rest was really good. The price is ofcourse high but it worth. This restaurant deserves recommendation with its view and good seafood.More
The staff were lovely and the food arrived promptly and was a decent portion size but wasn't particularly tasty, unfortunately. The squid was overcooked and the tomato pasta sauces were lacking a depth of flavour. My husband had penne with salmon which was the winning...dish on the table. The view out over Isola Bella was lovely though!More
