We were recommended by a local, and it didn't disappoint, even on a cold and windy evening out of season.
In summer it must be lovely to eat on the terrace, but the accommodation in March is basically a big tent.
However, the food was great.
We only had pizzas, but they were all done. There was lots of choice and a wide variety of ingredients.

There was a small queue to enter this pizzeria, so it might be advisable to book , particularly on Fridays and Saturdays.
It is in the grounds of what was obviously an old villa and very pretty. We sat in the courtyard area which had lemon trees growing within it.
The pizzas we had were excellent and considering that eating in Taormina is usually very overpriced, was very good value at around €10 per pizza.
Service was polite and professional and my only criticism was having to wait a bit to long when we asked for the bill. However, they were very busy so this is understandable. Highly recommended.

We hosting a welcome dinner for our wedding party here! There were 30 ish people who came to eat with us. We had the set menu, which was ridiculously amazing! The food was plentiful, it came out in good time, it was a little varied and even our fussy friends tucked in to the options provided. It was great value for money, the staff were really attentive and worked so hard. There was no need for us to ask for more or question the entire night. It ran so smoothly!! Our guests have not stopped raving about the pizza or overall quality and quantity of food. Thank you so much to everyone who worked that evening and the wonderful team for consistently liaising with me despite Covid to ensure our vision was a success!! We will be back I promise you that

I visited this restaurant with my husband, I contacted the restaurant prior to attending to find out if they offer gluten free pizza. They do and made the pizza dough ready for me that evening. Best gluten free pizza I have tasted.

We sat down quite hungry as you can imagine. They served us two glasses of wine (thank god for the wine), took our order and then made us wait 45/46 min for a pizza. Literally another 3 tablets we saw in the very same bizarre situation. Some of them didn’t have enough patience like us and left. Some of the waiters acted like we simply didn’t exist . After we took our bill, of course they didn’t come back to take it so we had to go by ourselves into the building to find the “reception” and give it to them. Who cares if the pizza is good after such experience? Cause I don’t.

Really looking forward to the no 1 rated pizza abd even all the steps up to it didn’t dampen if but I’m afraid being no 1 brings its problems. It’s a family run business and they don’t seem to be able to cope with their popularity. Big demand for takeout perhaps at the expense of the people actually in the pizzeria. Waited for 40 mins for pizzas and we could see lots cooked and just sitting on the counter . Ours were cold as were those at the table beside us. Everyone sent them back and they didn’t hesitate in giving us fresh ones but by then an hour had elapsed and we’d even finished our drinks. Pizza was good but bring your own cutlery as their impossible to cut and they’re reluctant to slice them. Give them time to sort themselves out!

This is a very picturesque restaurant with several terraces set off the Main Street. The lighting once it starts to go dark enhances the atmosphere. The restaurant is very popular especially with locals and families. The choice of pizzas is quite overwhelming but definitely something for everyone. Both our choices were tasty and cooked to perfection. Desserts of tiramisu and lemon sorbet also get the thumbs up. The glass of house wine I ordered was also good. Prices are very reasonable considering the setting and location. My only complaint is the service is a bit too efficient as we like to take our time over our evening meal and at times it felt a little rushed. This does not take away from the fact that this is a beautiful place to eat with great food and friendly staff and we would definitely eat here on any future trips to Taormina

Fabulous pizza! Five of us wandered in to this delightful place on a cold, windy February afternoon that alternated between rain and hail! What a warm and lovely respite.
The staff were so kind and friendly and we each ordered a pizza and either beer or wine. All of it was out of this world!
Do give it a try if you are lucky enough to visit Taormina!

I was with a lots of friends in the Pizzeria to eat a delicious pizza. My friends order chips, salads and other dishes, all very well presented and tasty. Last, but not least, I remember the waiter named “Mariella”, a very kind person with red hair. So, congratulation to the owner because it is not easy to conjugate good food and speedy and very kind treatment.

My husband had pizza and I had shrimp ravioli. Both were good. We asked for white cataratto wine by the glass. We had had it elswhere in own and it was delicious. The staff seemed rushed. A group of about 9 people arrived while we were dining and the restaurant may have been understaffed. We had 3 glasses of wine, 1 starter of fried calamari plus the pizza and ravioli and it came to euros 75 which we thought was expensive. We each had a glass of cattaratto and I thought it insipid and asked for the house wine for my 2nd, but am sure I was served more cataratto.

We had visited the fantastic amphitheatreand wanted a quick cheap lunch before heading home and this restaurant fulfilled both objectives. We had pizza and they were both nice (I might not be going over the top in my praise, but I had just come from Naples.)
Prices were reasonable for Taormina.

It is dead busy and I believe it is justified. We wanted to have a good pizza experience in Taormina and this is the best pizza we could have. The dough feels so soft and light and the variety of pizzas is mindblowing. The service is slow because of the amount of people they need to cover so my only recommendation is to employ some more people, if possible. I would give it a 2.5/5 for service, as it is hit and miss for that reason. If you cannot eat all your pizza, you can take it in a box with you so that is a bonus.

A warm friendly and inviting restaurant that buzzed late into the night with a wide range of age groups from 6 months and up ... People are obviously aware of this place as it they just kept pouring in throughout the evening.
The food was delicious. Generous portions and every waiter was friendly and attentive.
The fillet steak was cooked perfectly and the salmon was superb, moist and tasty. We finished the meal with a wonderful tiramisu. Highly recommend this restaurant if you want a buzzy lively evening.

This is basically a big pizza production facility with quite a touristy feel, but if you are happy with good pizza and wine you’ll be ok and there is nothing wrong with that. It is good fun and the service is quick and efficient. Pizza is well cooked and few people finish a whole one !
The sister pizzeria - La Napoletana - is more refined.
There is also a good, well-priced wine list with local wines.
Given Taormina’s prices and the need to book in advance for most restaurants this pizzeria provides a needed and welcome service.

The pizzas we had were very well made with excellent ingredients and superb dough. But - they were both cold because of the way they were made. The base had been cooked with only the tomato, then the burrata ham and sun-dried tomatoes added afterwards. All cold; not room temperature but from a fridge. This meant that all the heat came out of base as well. When I asked for them to be warmed, the waiter explained that this was a relatively common 'complaint' with those specific pizzas.
Why not just warn people then, or put a note on the menu?
The service was very good though and the ingredients used in the pizzas were absolutely excellent.
