One of the best granita alle mandorle I had. The others had granita limone e mandarino and Spritz Siciliano ( amaro instead of prosecco). Quality is good but a bit pricey

Loved the granita and gelato, especially the mandarin flavoured gelato. Also tried the granita and brioche - a great combination.
Had read about this or seen on a youtube. Stumbled by accident on Bam Bar in the middle of town returning to the shuttle to our car park. Grabbed a "take away" granita, -"to die for!" Do not miss this experience. The food looked great...too.More
We had a great granita with a worm brioche. Unfortunately, the staff is rude and seems bored to be working there….
Go eat granita. It’s the closest thing you’ll get in Taormina to absolute perfection & authentic awesomeness! The fruit flavours with brioche was great on a cold & rainy day after lunch down the road.
The granita are great. Best way to start a day in Taormina is visit Bam Bar. Granita with cream and brioche - perfect. You can choose 2 different tastes in your granita. I do not know how it works in full season (there are not...many tables) but for me it was great to arrive at 10:00 every morning, choose table and enjoy granita & espresso.More
Everything you've read about the Bam bar is true! Absolutly must-visit place when in Sicily. Granita is the best one we had in Sicily without competition. And brioche is the best one as well - freash and warm even though we went here late in...the evening. Make sure to take two flavors of granita - we tried nocciola and pistacchi with brioche and it was like a dream! Bonus is that the coffee is also great!More
Really relaxed and a great place to people watch. Half litre carafe of wine is affordable and a great way to pass a few hours in Toarmina. Selection of light snacks, coffees and great snacks. Completely recommend and don’t be too impatient to wait for...a seat.More
The granitas are absolutely fantastic, they live up to the hype. But the staff was amongst the worst I’ve encountered. Could barely be bothered serving us, seated by the toilet (which stank) even though there were other tables free. He wouldn’t let us wait for...a seat outside just said it was full - yet another couple was moved when asked.More
We were recommended Bam Bar for traditional granite and brioche and were not disappointed. There was a queue, always a good sign, which moved well. The atmosphere was buzzy and the granite alla caffe and warm brioche were superb. All for 10 Euros for 2!
Believe the hype, their granita is on a level of it's own! Usually you leave your name and wait a bit to be seated, but it's worth the wait
We passed by Bam bar a couple of times and we saw huge queues waiting for a table. We went back on a weekday and we found a table inside. It was the best granita I had in Taormina. I also had the ice cream...(it is separate on the catalogue with the word "latte" next to it) and that pistacchio is to die for. I had seconds and I wanted more but I controlled myself and went another day instead.More
Ignore all the non-5 star reviews! This is the experience you can't miss in Taormina. Yes - it is crowded. Yes - you have to queue. Yes - you need to get your name on a list and might have to follow up. Yes -...maybe the staff seem not friendly (they are crazy busy - give them a break!). Get a brioche, get a granita (or two!), have a cup of coffee and soak it up! You're on vacation - relax. We (table for 2) were 10th on the list and had to wait 15 min. I thought the staff were awesome. No we're not besties and they didn't ask me about my life but who cares! Best in groups of 2 to 4 as the tables are small. Best 15 EUR I spent in Sicily.More
This place is packed and very popular….expect to queue! If you manège to get a table the prices are not too bad for Taormina and you may bump into a celebrity. We didn’t see any but seems the sort of place. Only place in Taormina...that does raspberry granite…believe me we asked everywhere! Worth a visit if you want the best Granite (according to our 19 year old daughter….who only likes Rasperry!!)More
Maybe I caught the owner on an "off" day but I wasn't impressed with his manner or how another member of staff spoke to me. The waiter who served me was pleasant though. Even the granite was so so. I had better in many other...very basic places. It wasn't the most relaxing experience and I was somewhat disappointed.More
