We were very well-treated as we enjoyed our lunch looking out at the terrific views of the sea and mountains with a storm blowing in. Long menu and a lot to choose from. Food quality was adequate. Average prices.

We arrived at Granduca almost right at 7 when it opened, and were the only ones there for awhile, so we had great service. Eventually, others came, and yet our service was still great. I had the Fettuccine Granduca, and it was amazing. One of my favorite pasta dishes I've had in Italy. Everyone at my table loved what they... More

We were walking past this restaurant and it looked like it might be an interesting place for dinner. We were so lucky to get a table on the terrace overlooking the marvelous view of the sea and of course Mt. Etna. The staff were very nice and the food was very tasty. We started out with two appies - melon... More

2 good meals here with a wide choice of styles of food. Fresh fish a specialty but good meat dishes. Sweet menu limited but very good quality.

We had a reservation to eat in the restaurant rather than the pizza terrace as we weren't sure what we wanted to eat. As it turns out, the 4 of us split a big house salad, then 2 had pizza and 2 had pasta. We sat in the corner overlooking the dark sea and a few lights but it was... More

We saw the reviews and wondered. We've been so lucky with places that attract mixed opinion. Tonight we were not. Service? So slow. Waiters more absorbed in talking amongst themselves, and yet the place was 10% full. A few lost in translation moments. We got something different to the order. Food? Yes, ok, wouldn't say the best. Ambiance? Odd listening... More

Really pleased to have chosen this restaurant having read reviews about the location and the seafood - which were both fantastic. (I would describe the staff as more professional than indifferent.) We thoroughly enjoyed our three courses in the restaurant and would certainly go back again.

We went to this restaurant twice on our last day in Taormina. At lunch one of us had fish, the other lambchops which were astonishingly full of tasty meat we were guided by a very competent headwaitor to choose a delicious white Riesling. The prices equal the other restaurants in Taormina. In the evening I had fish, the Italian style,... More

Description
A magnificent villa of the 15th century splendidly restored, is the ideal setting of the restaurant-pizzeria "Granduca". Reception rooms, terraces and the garden all have a view of the sea and the greek theater, which give your meeting and receptions distinction. Cucine is typical from Sicily. It's a pleasure to eat, not only for the quality meals, but also for the beauty of the place.
