Came in off the Street, a party of 10, and were seated immediately. All the dishes were tasty and the house wine was very good too. It took the kitchen sometime to get dishes out but it was worth the wait. All in all, pretty happy.

Very nice atmosphere in the backyard. The front of the restaurant doesn't look very welcoming and if you don't know there is a garden you will probably not choose the restaurant. The garden is lovely, with lights in the olive trees.

We had a wonderful meal here. The local wine was inexpensive and paired well with the food. The service was attentive without being overbearing. From starters and salads to the main plates the four of us enjoyed our time here. The ristorante is located down the hill from the busy tourist area but is but a short cable car ride... More

We went there for dinner as advised by the B&B where we stayed and it was so good we went back again the next night!!! The fresh fish was a tad expensive but really worth it. Sea bass with a delicious salad and the best chips I have had in years! Our starter was tomato and mozzarella salad which was... More

The standard of restaurants in Mazzaro/Isolabella is shockingly bad. If you really need to eat in this shabby part of Toarmina, Castellucio is the best of a miserable bunch. There are no pavements so be careful if you walk to the restaurant. Service is friendly and professional. The people who work here take pride in their restaurant and are very... More

This was just what we needed, such a friendly atmosphere and plenty of staff to accommodate the amount of people arriving. It was quite obvious that they served special meals here, the same as every where else but cooked to perfection. I noticed the Fish courses coming out from the kitchen and they looked marvellous. Everybody congratulated them on their... More

We stumbled on this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The portion sizes were certainly enough to enjoy three couses without feeling stuffed. The staff are very friendly. We'll worth a visit

With a lovely garden and attentive staff, this is without doubt the best restaurant at the bottom end of the cable car. The food was great and the setting lovely.

So good, we went back the night after with the rest of the family. Great service and lovely food. Maybe even the best ragu I've ever had!
