We stumbled upon this restaurant our first night in Ortigia, and loved it so much we went back 5 times during the ten days we were there including taking a group of 14 friends there. The pizzas are great and there are three pages of choices. We also enjoyed the chicken and the seabass. The house wine was very reasonable... More

Ok food, but nothing special. Swordfish was good, pizza was better, ate inside, lots of space but no atmosphere, 2 mains & bottle of white wine 44 euro, so worth what we had. Service good

Lovely location in quiet alley. Good range on menu. There was a group of around 10 when we arrived and only a couple of small tables. We sat & sat & sat - waiting for our meal. Decided to fill in some time by using their "free wifi". When I tried to log on it wouldn't work - no go!!... More

This is a nice restaurant with a good menu selection of both pizza and non pizza dishes. We had a pizza which was very nice, however we were unable to buy prosecco by the glass, so we had to settle for still wine which was quite palatable. The service was good and the price was average. All up a nice... More

Cheap. Unpretentious but, ultimately, a tourist restaurant. We only chanced on this place once and, although in a narrow street it's on a main thoroughfare to the Duomo, so perfectly located to capture the hungry visitor. You never have great expectations in such places and we were not disappointed in that our pizzas came out awash with wet cheese. Not... More

We came upon this Trattoria in the middle of the worst storm. We arrived a little early but this didn't seem a huge problem and drinks were served food ordered and served as the place filled up. We initially thought the location was going to be a drawback and we would be the only people there. Not so. As the... More

Not far from the main square, down a narrow alley, I had the best food in Sicily in this restaurant! Specifically, I had a dish called Orecchiette Funghi e Salsiccia (Pasta with mushrooms and sausage) = FABULOUS sauce, wonderful pasta dish!!! Some of my other friends on a Rick Steves Best of Sicily tour (highly recommended) ate here, They returned... More

Excellent Service, food was very good. The restaurant was very clean, non smoking Atomsphere which made it more pleasant to enjoy The food. We had pizza cappriciosa, very good. It is off the beaten path on the way to the Duomo but they do have a sign on the Main Street to direct you, you have to walk just a... More

Great restaurant located in what you come to expect in an old classical city; down a narrow street. One of the best pizzas I've had. Crust not soggy, dressings classical choices. Great seafood and pasta dishes offered as well. Whether as take out or as a sit down meal. Quiet pleasant and superb food.

Excellent quiet place, we had a meal of 4 pizzas, excellent fried calamari and caprese salad - ingredients all fresh and the pizzas were each very individual and tasty. Wide menu choice beyond pizza and polite service - it was quiet, although mid week and off season. Would recommend for a family dinner. Total cost about 65 euro with drinks.

Pizzeria Restaurant Caravaggio is located in the heart of the historical center of Ortigia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Surrounded by historical sites, it is an example of the great legacies of the past. Walking through the streets of the historic center, take a dip in the atmosphere of the past, feel the breath of the great history of eras and peoples who once lived and now live here. Yes, we are not on a busy street with windows and seductive advertising. But if you turn from Corso Mateotti, and there, at the corner of via Mirabella and via Dione, is a good place where you can enjoy the delights of the local cuisine in an atmosphere of tranquility, comfort and kindness. We have all the capabilities to service the tourist groups up to 60 people. To do this, we have developed several tourist menu with the price range of 15 to 30 euros, which includes antipasti, first, second, dessert and drinks.
