The service was very nice when we had lunch here. Pasta alla norma was alright, something what I would expect it as a dish but the meat skewers were really delicious! They were maybe the best what we ate while we were in Sicily. Very...tasty and juicy! And this is coming from a real meat lover.More

Never disappoints ! Serving antipasti, fresh pasta & the famous braciole messinesi in abundant portions at very reasonable prices. Restaurant also has a vast selection of local wines and olive oil. A definitely a must try restaurant when in Ortigia.

Nice and special tastes from Messina. I loved the meatball screwers from fish and beef as well. They had very nice wines as well. Dont chose to have regular dishes.

The food and wine selection was excellent and very well cooked. The Chef was extremely helpful in discussing how the food could be prepared. The food was extremely tasty, which is the main thing, but the whole dining experience was really top class.More

My wife and I along with my parents had dinner at this wonderful restaurant located in the heart of Ortigia, Siracusa. Being a Sicilian myself, I can say the food was EXCELLENT! And the service was EXCEPTIONAL! We were treated like family! Bravo Giovanni!

A few tables outside and no frills but the guys serving did a great job. It would be great if whoever cooks could move near me! Parmigiana and swordfish pieces in tomato and capers sauce was a culinary highlight of my Syracusa stay. Thanks guys...and good luck with the business.More

This was the worst food I had in Sicily. Dried sticks of poor meat and fish, with overcooked pasta. The staff try and make up for it, and are very welcoming. The chef needs to revise his practices, menu. Really really bad.

Small restaurant with only 5 tables inside. Nice to have an open kitchen. Very friendly service from our waitress. Lots of wine to choose from. Shame we didn't get to see a menu for that though. A bit disappointed with the pasta dish as it...lacked some flavour and there weren't many shrimps. Lots of almonds though! My partner loved his meat. The potatoes as a side dish were mashed potatoes.More
