You will need to book ... we watched as they turned away many disappointed diners-to-be ... we booked 3 days in advance Noted for it's pasta, this small restaurant delivers on its reputation

This restaurant is much better than it appears as it's located on the main touristy street. I'm embarrassed to say that we went back twice. It is run by a family and you can tell that there is a huge amount of pride to serve fresh (lots of specials based on catch of the day) and culinary level food in... More

And we got it! The restaurant is a typical Sicilian family restaurant with really good food made with love. If you are looking for good wines I would go somewhere else, but it's a nice experience and you will walk away happy!

This osteria is well recommended by other visitors recording on Trip Advisor. Well they are correct, which led to this tour visit. However owner Doriana goes the extra step with advice and service, showing her extraordinary local food knowledge and agreement to share it. We had a meeting to design the meal as wine and food tours rely on great... More

It was very taste food and the service was fast. I think it was expensive because the amount of food was small and because they service people every two hours. We receive our ticket when we had 1 1/2 hour before we asked for it.

The raw shrimp salad, the pasta with cuttlefish are so memorable! We thought we would never get a seat as we were told it was fully booked that night, but another call to them and they said come before they open and sit outside. We waited for 20 min but is so, so worth the wait. Rarely do I rave... More

We ate here twice during our week in Ortigia having enjoyed it very much last year. This restaurant does exciting Sicilian things with fish - between the two occasions we enjoyed ravioli stuffed with cod and shrimp served in a tasty sauce including halves of cherry tomato and olive oil; tartares of tuna and of cod to mention but a... The food was simple and delicious, nothing pretentious, just fine ingredients, beautifully combined. I imagined there to be a nonna in the back, making the pasta by hand and instructing others to create her secret family recipe, passed down through generations. It was good food at a reasonable price.

This tiny restaurant (probably sits 30 pax) is a real gem in siracuse. The long menu offers typical Sicilian and Siracusean dishes, mainly from the sea. We arrived following a reccomendation from our host and were not disappointed. Swinging by the restaurant at about 19:15 to book a table, we encountered a sign saying "sorry - the staff is now... We tried to book this restaurant for an evening meal on the strength of the tripadvisor reviews but it was unfortunately fully booked for that evening and the next so we opted for lunch instead. So glad we did, the food was tasty, fresh and simple, exactly how Sicilian food should be! We enjoyed it so much we returned for... More
