The vegetable soup of the day was perfect, but our main courses were very disappointing. The service and welcome were cold and impersonal. The menu is large and I fear that the chef does not have a full command of all the preparations. The desserts appeared to be imported from outside the restaurant. Not a great experience.

We got to the place when they were closed for the employees' lunch. Nevertheless, they served us food which was excellent and amazingly inexpensive.

What you need to know Price- $60 -$80 dollars per couple. Includes one first and one second split between two people and a bottle of wine Type of food- Traditional Sicilian- pasta, fish, vegetables. The food was definitely a bit more upscale, nicely prepared and presented. Typical menu to other local establishments Ambiance- about thirty chairs. Fresh, clean, more contemporary... More

We went with our baby daughter and were truly welcomed by the owner who made us feel right at home. The grilled vegetables are great, but the ravioli and especially the tagliatelle with prawns and almonds is superb!

We spent three days in Siracusa. At the recommendation of our hotel, we dined at Ristorante Oinos. Our experience was so wonderful, that we returned again on our final night. Isidoro, the owner, is there every night making food and wine recommendations and providing excellent service. There were four people in our party and none of us were disappointed with... More

This little restaurant is a bit hidden from the main tourist paths, but it is lovely to sit and enjoy their excellent dishes. The owner of this family-run restaurant is one of the nicest guys we encountered on our trip. Highly recommended

Our host recommended this restaurant just a few doors down from our rental apartment in the Jureca neighborhood of Ortigia. We were so glad he did! The menu was extensive and focused on fresh seafood. We shared a primi of seafood risotto then each ordered a secondi - everything was delicious, the portion sizes were generous and the prices were... More

We ate some of the best antipasti we had in Sicilia there(the caponata and the eggplant millefeuille were excellent), and the manager was very nice with our kids and even helped keep them busy. The local wine also had a great quality/price ratio.

Located in the old Jewish quarter on a small piazza this family-run place was one of our favorites. The husband seem to do a lot of the cooking with mother and children helping out with serving, etc. Lovely to eat outside, even in early October with warming breeze. First course was styled millefoglie of eggplant and it was divine...a tomato sauce... More
