I have seen this restaurant recommended on the guide “111 things to do in Palermo” well likely to be an other episode of paid advertising. The food is quite good, and honest price, but the service is terrible: while queueing I have seen people skipping...just because local( I am Italian too) and the managers didn’t care to let respect it. Sitting next to each other( hello ? We are in covid time!) no one explaining the menu is on a board, and waiting time and time before knowing how it works, forgetting orders, and to be honest, no one shared a bit of sympathy. Palermo is full of amazing place where to eat, that is my conclusion.More
This restaurant doesn’t deserve those good reviews. Waitress forgot us.
Absolutely noone manage the wait Line in front of the restaurant so newcomer can can be installed to tables even when they arrive 30 min after you (so frustrating), red whine was awful.
They take...your order to tell you 20 min after That the meal ordered is not avaible anymore.
The food was not more than classic & tasteless.
My advice : please consider your clients before the money, because money come from them.
We arrived at about 8:30 after arriving in Palermo. It was already very busy. The process of getting into the queue for a table is very random. It appears you just have to be lucky with being seen first when a member of staff comes...out. Once we got our name in the book we were able to order a drink and have that outside whilst we waited about 20 minutes to be seated.
We did have to wait a little while to have our orders taken once seated but the food was very tasty when it arrived and we both enjoyed our meals. It is a nice place and feels authentic.
My advice is, if you want to go maybe book earlier in the day.More
We ate here twice during our 3 night stay. It is worth booking as each evening there was a queue rapidly building up. Service seems to depend on who is in charge on the night as there was a bit of a mix up with...one of our orders but food very good and worth waiting for. Local dishes well cooked. The place has a lively atmosphere selling local Forst beer.More
Wide range of customers at this restaurant. Young and old. It is advisable to book or eat early as it gets very busy. Food choice is limited but very good and not long to wait from ordering to eating. Reasonably priced
Nice food centrally located. Small menu but specialist in local cuisine . We had a late lunch before our flight back and it was just enough with the taste of Sicily in our tongues going home. Good value at 65 euro for 4 which was...starter and main course. Friendly staff . Gets really busy in the evenings.More
