The best Easter Monday 'Pasquetta' lunch ever. A spotlessly clean restaurant located in a rundown quarter of Palermo. The sea urchin bruschetta 'bruschetta con ricci', oysters, raw prawns 'gamberi crudi' were to die for.

We tried and loved all the sardine starters, and the spaghetti alle vongole was as good as any I've tried anywhere. My friend had the swordfish pasta and enjoyed it very much. The chef was friendly and happy to explain all the dishes. The house...More

Great restaurant run by a young Italian couple. The wife makes the most amazing pesto, fresh and nutty. The pasta alla vongole was also absolutely delicious. Great food, amazing service, cozy atmosphere.

At the edge of mercato il capo, a small restaurant that you may miss if you don’t consider small lanes to wonder around. Off the main market street, this restaurant is located. It’s a fine dine restaurant without the “intimidating atmosphere” but with a friendly...More

We had red mullet as an antipasto, which was perfectly cooked and spaghetti alla vongole with a very generous portion of clams and spaghetti alla ricci, not the cheapest dish on the menu but worth every penny! Altogether a great, unpretentious restaurant.

I feel like I completely remember the credit card stickers on the door, but I can't say with certainty because we paid with cash. Sorry

Description
Sergio and Angela Spano run the restaurant since 2004. Both come from families of restaurateurs who have passed on their passion and love for the traditional cuisine of Palermo, the same passion that today move in their work, seeking the scents and flavors of the past and selecting all the raw materials with care. Caponata, Sardinian warbler, daisies ca n'ciova, squid ink pasta with sea urchins, fresh fish of the Mediterranean, they explode like a vortex of fragrances giving you a blast from the past.
